awesome video, I know bunker nose into the wind, but that surf looks rough for a north wind. What direction was the wind blowing and was it sustained for a couple of days?

That looks awesome. The only thing I can’t do is run on the beach like that or my knees will explode. Did you have to chase them up and down the beach? Do they tend to move in one direction?
Sometimes they but push the bait pods straight into the suds until they beach them. They'll pound the h*ll out of pods of bunker until they thin out and disperse (or were eaten) then the bass head back out off shore. And sometimes they'll follow up or down the shore a little ways but that's not a given so when they're beaching them hard you gotta try to get on them in the frenzy.
A couple years back it was so insane wading out knee deep that the bunker would swim between your legs to dodge the bass and the bass will damn near knock you over like you weren't there in a frenzy like they're in some trance and you don't exist lol. I grew up on the South Jersey shore so I've been blessed enough times to fish it to know the rush he was getting. People look at the water and think they're out there a couple hundred yards when they're literally at the waters edge in the foam at your feet. You just have to be patient and put in the time on the beach because they can pop up with no signs of anything happening and then all hell busts loose and they blow up everything around them like grenades busting up all around you and then as fast as they came in they pull back out. It's really a h*ll of a thing to experience if you're determined enough to get in the thick of it. My buddy and I are packing everything up tonite to hit the surf for the morning sunrise because this time of a year it can blow up at any given time right into December. Anyone who fishes needs to be at the surf fishing once in their life to see the stripers blitzing bait onto the beach. I've seen 50 lbers run 12 inch herring so close to the edge big Atlantic herring get literally beached and wash up around you still alive. They'd rather die on the beach then face those big cows taking target practice on them lol. The bigger herring have to choose to try to escape the stripers or risk dieing by seagulls in the sand and quite often they take their chance with the seagulls in the sand lol
Sometimes they’ll stay right infront of you or move either which way 20-50-100yards 🤷🏻♂️ on this day, once I had them infront of me they were spread out good to where I could cast in any direction and lock into a fish so after me initially having to run over to the blitz I was pretty much in the same area for an hour or so…Thanks for watching 😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Many anglers don't disclose information like that, I normally agree but in this case it's a beach, it's a really big place and lots of space to fish. It's weird to me that they keep info like that a secret.

My angle is get out there and look for them just like I do and put in your time…or I could just sit and wait for someone to give me information…you see I was all alone majority of the time? There’s a reason for that, I went to find the fish while guys stayed on the jetty….
like I said i normally agree. But a whole beach isn’t a spot. Many years ago when I first got into fishing, someone suggested I try Jones Beach, I got my Toggs on and went. I scoured google maps and walked the many miles of beach until I found my spots. My point is, telling someone what beach someone is is not blowing up a spot, instead encouraging an angler to get out there and explore.

Biggest one is courtesy don't mug guys for their spot if you see them catching give distance know the rules spoken and unspoken
Being there for the Blitz is "better". Regardless of how many other guys are on the Bite also.
Just being there for it is the BEST! It's pretty rare to catch a Blitz.
Common courtesy and respect go a longggggggggg way on the surf ESPECIALLY the jetties….learn the current flow, get in line and make your cast accordingly….think of it as a conveyer belt and wait for your cast to come up…don’t be one of those guys casting over peoples head….Thanks for watching😎 STAY TUNED 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

All fish were released within 30 seconds of being beached, no need for revival as the fish were on the line for a minute at most…if it was a 50lber then yea you take alittle time releasing it…15-25lb fish don’t need that type of care they aren’t rainbow trout my man…would you rather me keep the fish out of the water for the perfect instagram pic like I’m sure you have or would you rather me release it immediately? Common sense is your mother should’ve swallowed you pal….

Honestly... just about every CZcamsr (except Sky) keeps fish out of the water waaayyyy too long, taking pictures of schoolies, instagram photo shoots, measuring 20 inch fish... it pisses me off so much respect to you Jason for wanting people to treat fish right. BUT... gotta give props to Sky for the following reason:
1. He had no pliers and still managed to get fish unhooked and back in well under a minute
2. He even tossed his rod \ reel in the surf to safely release that fat fish
3. He doesnt drag em up on dry sand like every other googan shmuk, he was literally unhooking them in the wash and occassionally used his foot to flip the bass to get the trebles away from his foot.
