I only started taking selenium 2 weeks ago. My hair has fallen out badly for 3 years, blamed it on stress and doing keto. Selenium has stopped my hair loss!!!!! Not sure why doctors couldn't have suggested selenium. In 2 weeks, my hair loss has stopped! A miracle for me.

During 2020 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, TSH level about 14 (normal value 1 to 4.5) then I started my workout and avoiding all Goitrogens ,multivitamin supplement for a month and also early morning sun exposure to get enough vit D, my thyroid levels become normal( TSH 3.4) I still continue my routine expect multivitamin supplements

I started out with a diagnosis of thyroid hormone resistance when I was 16 because I had an ungodly high amount of t4, approximately 4 times the normal range, yet I looked perfectly fine. Then around 21 my t4 went down and my tsh went shooting up, which meant hypothyroidism which I was later diagnosed, and today at almost 26 my doctor told me my thyroid levels are totally normal which baffled me. It is possible to heal and fix your thyroid, as I did it myself. It feels like a milestone achievement.

@@drop_t0p_p0rche28 it is possible to do it. For me it was a mix of daily exercise, daily multi vitamins and lots of B12 plus iodine, blood detox teas, and mental relaxation/breathing exercises. It may take a few years maybe a few months but eventually your thyroid should get to normal levels.

There are better ways to cure thyroid permanently using root and herbs and I got rid of mine with herbal supplements I got from Dr Oyalo on channel and it work for me perfectly. Cure for thyroid is real and doc Oyalo is doing well with it.

I've been on it 15yrs now. After doing a total thyroidectomy I realized a small lump on the left thyroid gland. I've changed my diet. It has decreased to a small size. I took iodine. Thank you, that was very helpful. I am 75, have Hypothyroidism, and haven't seen a doctor for 3 years. Sorry, but I no longer have any faith in them. I take lots of supplements and also paint a square of iodine on my skin once a week (sounds bizarre I know but it works). I manage my condition well except for the hair loss. I should point out that I am pretty much vegan. Any tips for hair growth?

I've been using lemon table salt and water to maintain my thyroid levels I believe I have this but I'm waiting to see a doctor what does anybody think about this

I have this on my fridge 😌 I really don’t eat much so I’ve started drinking Boost for women. It contains selenium & all types of vitamins & minerals. Works a lot better for me. I don’t Jane to force myself to eat.
I’m unable to eat any goitrogen foods. Even small amounts.
Brazil nuts has more selenium than any other food and kelp for iodine.

I've previously normalized elevated TSH by going vegan & I stayed a vegan for 4 years.
But then I decided to start eating meat again & now I'm back to hypothyroidism! My TSH is now 5.6 & I'll be vegan again very soon.

@@oslobanutaniamaria3393 Vegan, mediterranean & ketogenic combined are the diet, which has worked for me - I'm genetic lactose intolerant & do supplement with B12 Methylcobalamin (natural form), vit D3, vit K2 etc...
When it comes to hematology, it seems like we're all supposed to eat an individual diet... The best one can do, is to figure out what works for you.
There's a lot I would love to eat, but I know how sick some foods will make me & that's enough motivation for me. I've fx reduced nightsweats, inflammation & infection by avoiding sugar, eating low-glycemic etc.
When it comes to meat, I can only eat the most delicate meat or I get nausea from meat - if I should eat anything from a cow, it would be the soft, finest & most expensive part from the animals back, due to less muscle tissue. I'd prefer fx wild deer, but I simply can't afford it.
I had my blood samples taken earlier, I'm almost back to a vegan diet, except for dinner.

Could the veganism be the actuall problem? Because I see a lot of vegan people that they have health issues after long periods of eating just plant based. I also have a lot of health issues.....and I am thinking if the vegan diet is the right one. Because I see that also, some of the minerals that we find in animal products, we can not find them in plants. Sooo, that actually means stress upon our body...
I thing a diet that also includes a little bit of animal nutrients, may be the right one. But just a little bit.
And also, when you were vegan, I hope you were not eating processed vegan products from the store...
And a tip that actually may help you , is try raw milk. Like a medicine. Just a little bit, in the morning.

Graves’ disease is an immune system disorder, the dr who treated your dr will know her better. A diet plan is like one’s own name, it’s unique for everyone. Now 60 & once again I'm back to dr. For all symptoms above except never issues with constipation. So we're back to changing dosage. Yay. Can anyone help me? I've been exercising and eating healthy for probably 8 months. I've only lost maybe 20 pounds. I weigh 240-245 and am 5'7. I can not for the life of me get below 240. Hello. I’m new to your channel, and very interested in any information that can help me with my hypothyroidism symptoms, especially difficulty losing weight.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2006. No one in my family has it, or any thyroid problems. I feel it may have been at least partly caused by all of the radiation I was exposed to while having CT scans, and other radiological studies done on my spine. I developed a small nodule on my thyroid, and had hyperthyroidism initially. I take Armour Thyroid because the Levothyroxine doesn’t work on me.
I do not eat very much,and exercise every day for my back. I do have difficulty walking so I use a back brace, &/or walker at times.
I need to lose weight for my back, and leg health.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease about 7 years ago. Lately I've been having issues with heat intolerance and muscle cramps and tightness under my rib cage and I've lost about 12 pounds in the last 6 months. @@vaneziahamilton I have and the bloodworm indicates that I should take a higher dose of levothyroxine. It's weird. Maybe something else going on with my immune system. This stuff is so hard to diagnose.
Apparently, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis can cause both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. I would recommend doing thyroid massages (there are CZcams videos about this) to help stimulate your thyroid gland. That's what I do for 15 minutes twice a day, and I have Hashimoto's, too. Edit: also, stop eating gluten.
