    Hi I can't find the empty system panel in the layout why?

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  Před 5 měsíci

      It’s probably been purged from your file. Open a new project with the default Revit template… follow these steps… then copy/paste that curtain wall into your current project

  • @FeatherBreaker
    @FeatherBreaker Před 4 lety +1

    So when I check my families, "empty system panel" shows just fine. However, when I edit the properties of the curtain wall, it doesn't give me an option to select the empty system panel under "curtain panel"...

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  Před 4 lety

      Hey! You're template most likely was purged and empty system panel was removed... Start a new project using the default autodesk template and empty system panel should be there. It's a system family, so that is the only way to get it. Once you have it you can make your curtain wall family in the new file and copy it into your current one. Cheers!

    How do I get it so that is can extend to the top of a roof? I try to do it and it wont let me

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  Před 2 lety

      It's just a curtain wall... move the top offset... Just like a wall!

  • @AiMaNsHaH99
    @AiMaNsHaH99 Před rokem

    is there anyway to make it on a curve wall?

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  Před rokem

      Yes, you will just need to segment it with vertical grid lines. It will be a segmented curve... not smooth.

  • @markd918
    @markd918 Před 2 lety

    how can I save this to use for other projects?

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  Před 2 lety

      You have a few options. You can save the wall type as part of your template, or you can simply copy and paste the Curtain Wall from your current project to the new one...
