Yes if you complete your practical training in CMA then in my opinion you should be eligible to register through experience pathway and appear only for Level 2 exams.
CA articleship would be counted as work experience???

Salary for any job always depends upon various factors like the experience of the candidate, his/her communication skills, his/her ability to crack interview, his /her other educational qualifications etc and so salary is subjective i.e. it changes from person to person. I have seen CWM professionals start with a salary of 4 lacs and also seen some of them start directly from 10 lacs.

Yes you can definitely go ahead with CWM since you have cleared NISM-8, your knowledge of NISM will definitely be useful in this course. And honestly speaking you will have to purchase the book directly from AAFM or some AEP because in my knowledge there are no other books available online for free or for demo.

There are several e books available online which you can download. Then along with reading those books start watching certain videos on basic accounting on youtube. If that is not sufficient you can ask a private tutor to give you some lessons on basics of accounting.
