Bro if for example my tab battery is 4200mA and I change it with the same 4200mA (some universal battery) but the battery size is much smaller. Is it ok? I can't find a battery for my tab type but many universal batteries are sold. Would that be okay?
@@gepliprl8558 As long as the battery voltage is the same (and the number of connection wires) then you can use any battery with approximately the same mAh rating that will fit in the case. Make sure the thickness of the new battery is ok too, some are very thin like 3mm while other batteries are more like 4mm. Hope it works out for you. Cheers, Jake
Thanks man. That's very informative. I've never try using different batteries before. I have an old samsung tab usually for known brands the batteries are abundant in the market. But now I have a slightly rare tab but now I can be sure to use different kind of batteries.👍👏
I haven't tried a Samsung tablet, but all tablets I've opened have been snapped together and just needed gentle use of a credit card or similar to open them. (don't use a screwdriver, it will damage the case) I have opened Samsung phones though, that was very difficult as they are glued together. I recommend you have a look at this website and try see if you can find the specific tablet you have: www.ifixit.com/Search Cheers, Jake
Hello :) I'm not that good at english but I I just received my tablet which is similar to yours and the battery drain so fast in a short timespan , is it because of the battery? Should I just replace the battery?? Thanks :))
No, you will need a 3 wire battery otherwise the tablet will not work correctly. You can buy 3 wire batteries, just check on Aliexpress etc. The 3rd wire (white) is for a thermistor to measure the temperature of the battery during both charging and use, without the 3rd wire it will most likely refuse to charge the battery. Cheers, Jake
@@TheStuffMade When I opened the tablet to see the battery without touching anything, I closed it again and now the bottom part does not recognize me (the change of application and that, if broken if I can use it from another point, do you know how to solve it? ;-; )
@@xXxAdammxXx It's not easy to say what the problem is without seeing the device, but check the small ribbon cable for the touch screen is still connected properly. Maybe try disconnect it and reconnect it.
Short update, the new battery is working well, it will now do 7-8 hours of youtube, games and internet browsing.

very good ! that,s great!
Thank you! Cheers!
Have you ever opened a Samsung tab? There is no compartment to access any screws. Does it just snap together? Don’t want to damage it. Thanks.

@@TheStuffMade It is seen that I have caught "a pinch" to the "cable" of the touch screen ... I had to ask for a screen apart from the battery. u.u
