It wasn’t the tire change. It just went off on its own. Mine did the same except I didn’t get a tire rotation :) Mine came on after I drove alittle further with low gas indicator on. The van didn’t die from not having gas but after pumping a full tank it didn’t boggle and shut off a quarter mile down the road. Then cranked after a few starts. The CEL w/ check awd system info came on two days later then was gone that evening when I went to crank it back on.

I'm glad that worked for you, but I don't see how a tire rotation has anything to do with an engine light going on.

Appreciate your help to others to save money and time....but as a techincal person trying to figure this out... it makes no sense that rotating tires will do anything....UNLESS somehow the overall diameter of the tires was DIFFERENT ENOUGH to cause the Traction Control and AWD warning lights to be erased. OR...when the tires were rotated by the tech...somehow the sensor wires to one ( or all) of the wheels was nudged or put back into shape....something like that. The code P219D is a simple engine running condition error....which also has NO impact on anything like Traction Control, etc. Just putting it out there for other folks to see.....

How did you know it was a tire rotation?
