- Thirty-year-old Wade Wilson was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder after he killed 35-year-old Kristine Melton and 43-year-old Diane Ruiz in October 2019. Wilson met Melton at a bar and later choked her to death when they went back to her home. Wilson later stole Melton's car, and then killed Ruiz while she was walking to work. Her body was found in a field less than a week later. Wilson could face the death penalty for these gruesome crimes.

My heart goes out to the family members who will have to bear this enormous loss for the rest of their lives. I am also grateful for the legal system, of course it is difficult to have to come to such a decision. But this individual chose his own fate. So I'm glad the law made the right decision. because this could have happened to any of us.

There is no suffering in death whatsoever. No matter what side you’re on- I don’t see how any of the people involved, families etc, will benefit from another life being taken. How does his confession minimize the crime in any way? He sentence was based off the crime, not his confession. This is a person who does not belong in society with the rest of us, he is a danger to anyone near him.
He pled not guilty that’s why there was a trial. If he would have signed a plea deal admitting guilt there wouldn’t have been a trial and that would have changed his sentence.

It's our citizens/jury who won't make the right decision when it comes to some of these disgusting murderers who should be given the death penalty.
