Joey is that fish keeper we all know who just can't help getting more fish. Where every time we see them they say they physically can't keep anymore fish, but then has more the next time we see them. The only difference is Joey's water quality is crazy good.
just followed your twitch cant wait for more content on twitch, I love how you actually understand that a bare minimum isn't the best for your fish for example your arrowana is in a 2000g your piranha are in 700g, and your tanks are really clean(when they arent being fed) thanks for being the gem of the fishkeeping world joey

Joey next time u red cape the piranha tank put the plant substrate in plastic mesh bags mate it works absolutely amazingly and u won’t have any fish storing up that substrate try it out

Is it not a idea to move the oscars and arowana to the piranha aquarium? Maybe you can use Some fast growing plants to discus aquarium so they take care of your nitrates. Love all the updates
The koi you could build a 16ft X 8ft wooden shed, with a pond built in it (like you did with the first Red-tail catfish), as koi don't need the heat like the other fish you have, maybe add a couple sterlet sturgeon as they only get to aroung 1-meter give or take.
Joey put the planted substrate in media bags under the sand. The plant roots will get all the benefits without the piranhas messing it up. Just a friendly tip
YES! When you were taking about the river tank in the gallery i was thinking.. it would be cool if it was longer.. i should comment and tell Joey to do that in his basement! set it up so the two tanks look like one river! Then you started walking to your house and i freaked! lol

Throw some shrimp in with the discus to clean out the stuff that makes it into the rocks 🤷🏻♂️ I think it would work well.
Creating a YT channel for your Twitch broadcast archive is a great idea. Twitch can be iffy with preserving past broadcasts over time, even for those in the partner program.
I think you should do a shallow river tank, a long tank, maybe 3-4 meters long shallow

For one reason or another I’ve missed your videos lately. One of the last videos I saw was like the 2nd video of the discus and WOW, what a difference! That they are show “friendly” is awesome too!
I would love if you’d go into depth (you probably have but maybe updated/current) filtration methods and types you use? Your water always looks incredible! I’d also love more fundamental videos in general like how you balance the salt water tank or ensure it’s a healthy balance for the plants

In the basement I would do a gold aro and a red aro in either aquarium along with their respected lighting to highlight their colors. U have the super red, get a gold helmet and ur good to go! Talk about a Ying and Yang......

I've been researching ALOT about freshwater fish, I was recently gifted not 1 but 2 40 gallon tanks lol I was thinking to start doing a school of tetras. I seen its best to start with 7 but I dont wanna start off to strong, how many would you recommend and what goes perfect with tetras

I too do water changes every three days, but right now I’ve had to medicate one tank and in another I found baby fish so I guess the one tank will have to wait and my tank with Mbuna fry I’m gonna wait and do a slow drain and fill as to not stress the fry out cause I want to keep them and I don’t have another tank to transfer them into to.

shrimp was fine with my puffer till it ate one then they started to go missing (was a humpback puffer) but snails were left alone mostly
