- We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Bruges, Belgium on August 2022.
Bruges (Brugge in Dutch) is a charming, historic city located in northwest Belgium, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, canals, and cobbled streets. Once a major center of commerce and trade, it is now a popular tourist destination with a population of around 120,000 people. The city is also known for its chocolate, beer, and lace-making traditions. Bruges is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been nicknamed the "Venice of the North" for its numerous canals and bridges.
Our guided walking tour is about 1.86 miles (3 km) long, starts at Burg Square and covers most attractions and historic sites of Bruges.

No matter where you look, it's absolutely stunning. Not much cities in the world can say this. BRUGGE simply doesn't have any 'ugly' corner. A must visit when in Europe.
I was there in September and was mesmerized by the wonder that emanates from every inch of the city. I recommend it to everyone.

my wife and i visited Belgium a couple of years ago ( 2017 ) and apart from a couple of hundred square yards of Bruges the country in dull and uninspiring , the best part of the trip was a day trip to Sleus and that's in the Netherlands , i'll never go again
Belgium is small, flat and congested in a chaotic sort of way. When you cross the border into the Netherlands suddenly everything looks orderly and carefully planned.
