There is a big difference between 경상남도 사투리 & 경상북도 사투리, which is intonation. Of course people from other cities can't tell which is 경상남도 사투리 or 경상북도 사투리 but 경상도 people can recognize it.
경상남도 사투리: 대→학↗교↘
경상북도 사투리: 대↗학↘교↘
And they have some different vocabulary as well.
경상남도 사투리: 그래 가지고 (And then)
경상북도 사투리: 그케 가지고 (And then)

근데 펴츤어 보다 부산 사투리 훨씬 좋아요 Busan satoori is like music to my ear.

예전에는 '마산시'였는데 지금은 '마산합포구'로 바뀌었네요. 그냥 '마산 지역area' 이라고 하면 돼요.
경상도 사투리는 경상북도하고 경상남도 억양이 크게 달라요. '마산'하고 '부산'은 경상남도라서 비슷한 것로 알고 있어요.
(마산하고 부산은 물론 어휘 차이가 약간 있을 거예요. 억양은 비슷해요.)
I think I have a problem. I can only understand부산 사투리. When I go to 서울 I can't understand anything 🤣🤣
If you live in Busan or in 경상남도 now, you are doing very well. If you plan to move to Seoul, you can learn 표준어 in Seoul while you live there. Eventually, you will become bilingual in 부산 사투리 & 표준어 .
