Excited you will attend GenCon again this year. I recall you did not have that great of an experience last year but here's hoping you do this year (even if you're working solid). I've attended GenCon for the last 10 years and, yes, while the event brings out many-a-folk, 'dere's plenty of fun to be had. Recently, I've been GM'ing at AEG's Big Game Night on the Friday of GenCon and it's been a blast. Whenever we travel, particularly when my wife knows we'll be buying stuff, we check an empty (giant) hard-sided suitcase with lots of bubble wrap inside. Then we fill it with purchases and check it on the return trip. Safe travels to you both. I'll say a quick hello if I see you around.
You have to do content on Murray and Pagan please! So, many interesting games! I am so glad you are doing a Kickstarter, you deserve a space that is easy and comfortable to work in!

Comic hunters will probably be at the spin master booth since they are helping bring it over with the marvel license. It has a bunch of mechanisms, drafting, auction and this weird slide puzzle-esque auction. The really cool thing about it is that it uses actual marvel comic covers for the artwork. I ordered it from Brazil years ago and it was worth it. Highly suggest. Also hope to meet you guys again at gencon.

Good luck with the studio build! Pacman Quoridor is one we'll probably have to pick up. Hopefully they make a travel sized version! We have the travel version of Qawale that we typically keep in the car!

Park Life and Hedgehog Life were on the same crowdfunding campaign recently. Same games with a few minor differences between the cards and gameplay, but both look solid. I've been home roasting coffee since 2004, and really should have turned it into a business years ago. So many hobbies! There's a few amazing roasters right here in Indianapolis I'd recommend. I'll start with one - check out Tinker Coffee. Their roastery is really close to Gen Con in the city
Love the shout out for fortify. While kids can play it is really meant to be for adults who miss being kids. It has a nostalgic video game (Rampart) feel. Definitely come say hi at Gencon! You might like some of the other new games (Fruitoplay and Plantopia) as well.

As always, I love your list. And I think I am very similar to you, Jamie. I want games for the cover and stay for the gameplay. Art and theme are very important to me. I think I miss many great games because of this but I will sometimes still come around playing them if someone else suggests them. The one from this list that I am most excited for is...I think Video Game Champion closely followed by Murray the A**hole Frog and Creepshow. I'm getting more and more into weird themes and the frog one is right up my alley. And I think Undaunted 2200 Callisto might be the first time I'll try out the system.
So what I'm hearing is that Jeff is "a sucker" for a lot of things... Just wait till you take a look at my trick taking game about Arthurian farmers just trying to grow the best crop while wizards and knights are fighting around them, effing up their fields! It's got your name written all over it!

If you like coffee I think colombian coffee are one of the best in the world. I can sent you cofee from the mountains of Puerto Rico also very good and one brand was the favorite of Pope Juan Pablo II

I had quite a few games either already on my list or pre-ordered. 💜 I pre-ordered Pagan a few weeks ago, and we're so excited for it! There will be expansions debuting at Gen Con! 🧹 We must have them! There's also a limited edition Tinderblox Nightfall that's said to be a little more challenging. I must hunt this down! Lol And I just checked out Flickering Stars by Friendly Skeleton. It might be something that you guys might enjoy. I'm super intrigued about turning my table into a space battlefield with "launching projectiles". 😂

Comic Hunter and Video Game Champion are easily my #1 and #1A of the games at GenCon! I won't be at the con, but I'll be buying both of those asap.

I'm a home roaster too and definitely recommend trying it out. It's easy and eventually cheaper because green coffee is cheaper than roasted.
