- Using the Down South Lures in the color white ice in shallow crystal clear water. This lure proves itself extremely productive in catching redfish and speckled trout over oyster flats.

Jake, nice meeting you today on the water at Ingelside. Thanks for your support to go out to the island. I wouldn’t have gone if you hadn’t asked me. Jim
Yes sir, nice meeting you as well and anytime brotha!
Solid Fish!! Sux about the drive! Had my spine replaced once, bearings filed down over time…fortunately was covered under warranty
Thanks man, I honestly didnt feel the quality was there on this one. Tryin to kick out any footage I have and go forward with some newly acquired sponsors. I have a repair video coming soon on the drive.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors Nice Brotha! On my list for this year trying to get some kind of sponsorship! Gotta give me pointers! 😉
Just keep doin your thing and jump on multiple media platforms. Youll get hit up. This is a good area for it.
Man you went hard on that salt! Awesome work!
Thanks
great job man...love your content
Thanks, really appreciate it
That was a big fish, make me hungry
I wish we had that type of fishery nice video. Man that spine will hurt your pockets
You do have that type of fishery for reds. I was able to salvage the drive. Repair video dropping soon buddy.
Great video content fishing shallow clear water. Warming trend made reds opportunistic.
Thanks buddy!
That drop is where they hold certain times of the year. I use the beer run color with the diesel minnow looks about the same color.
Yea any good translucent glitter style lure will be effective in that clear water for sure.
I have a pelican boat and take my granson with me. Where do you launch. Like that its shallow no big boats around. Like your videos 😊
Thats awesome. Demmit Park or NAS are good launches
Crazy how shallow those fish will get. Hate that about your drive. When I was still using Hobie I had a similar issue. Your local Hobie dealer may have some warranty lower units they can sell you under the table or give you for you to attempt to replace those roller bearings. I bought 2 damaged warranty units that had like new bearings and was able to fix mine and save the $350 or whatever it is now. I had the v2 md180
Ive done multiple repairs on the 180 drive. Very familiar, only problem is parts availability. I had parts from a friend's warrantied drive. My next video will go over the repair process.
Oyster donkeys!! Nice!! 👍🏻
Haha. Definitely some oyster butter balls. Thanks buddy!
Love your videos, but the reeling to the rod tip is killing me.. I’m assuming there’s a reason you do that, can you give an explanation?
Thanks, glad you enjoy the videos. Im assuming you're referring to the sound the uni knot makes when it goes through the eyelets in the rod? Thats just part of using braid to flourocarbon leader. The pros far outweigh the cons for me. I dont really notice the noise anymore.
Well I just have to go to the restaurant to eat fish
Ill make sure you have plenty of fresh fish next time you come down
