    Make a Snowboard Trick list and work your way through each trick. video I'm going to give you a list of the first ten tricks to learn on your snowboard. These snowboard tricks are in order and each trick will teach you a snowboarding skill that you'll use in the next trick on the list. When practicing these tricks safety is the biggest priority, so make sure the landing is clear of other riders.

    I broke my pelvis last season trying to progress to bigger jumps. Make sure you progress at a steady pace and don't get ahead of yourself.

      Lol, I wish I had learned how to stand duck and ride switch from the start :( Now I just cannot seems to grasp it anymore and ride regular only :(

      Dennis Stolwijk I took a lesson to refresh my skills just riding normally, and having the way you do turns re explained to me made it so I could do it switch

      Skateboarding switch is crazy hard for me but for some reason when I’m strapped to my snowboard it’s the easiest thing to transition between goofy and switch

      I naturally ride switch but when I was learning in lessons I was always going the wrong way so my instructor made me ride regular but when we started learning switch it was so easy

    I'm a instructor at copper mountain CO and my first season back east I remember not being able to do any of this.     Thank you so much for breaking down these basic tricks to the fundamentals! I have made drastic improvements in my game this season thanks to your help ;) I have a long way to go, but yesterday I did my first 180 and switch 180 as well as a nose and tail butter 180 type moves. I’ve been riding for over 10 years and all I was missing the basic biomechanics involved in these moves, and you really nailed it down fo me. Now I just need a few hundred hours practice to get competent. Thank you again Kevin and huge fan of your channel! Jay

    Hey kev thanks for everything . I was riding this weekend and fell on a kicker and fell flat on my back and today I went to the hospital and found out that I wrecked the wings on my spine and my mom had said she does not want me back out this season but if I feel well enough later on I really want to get back out and better on my board thanks for all the help and great videos keep it up

    I started skiing when I was 3 years old. But this year is the first time I'll try snowboarding! With thanks to this channel. and gopro/redbull ofcourse. (the fourth phase is amazing)

    Finally had snow here in the UK midlands and learnt to do an Ollie, fs 180 and Indie grabs! Was great fun to be outside rather than in an indoor centre

    once i get super comfortable with toe stance, I'll definitely pick up 1-5 on the 3rd trip this season!
    I love that moment when things just click and all of a sudden you get it, just like how heel stance was today

    This is just what I need. This is my second season and I am pretty good at carving and I want to have more fun this season.
    Already been doing ollies and tomorrow I am gonna practice on presses and butter rolls.

    Great video man, I just wanted to add that you don't need to follow this trick list, don't let not knowing a smaller trick keep you from trying a bigger one. I was throwing a few tame dogs off a knuckle yesterday, and i've never even attempted a 3 on a jump. Stay safe ;)

    This is really good advice. The learning sequence makes a lot of sense. I would add doing some of the tricks switch. As soon as you get comfortable in the trick, try doing it switch.

      Exactly! That's what scares the shit out of me about snowboarding. and basically in snowboarding even the most simple tricks, like the ones shown in this video, are huge compared to skateboard tricks. the potential to fuck yourself is way higher with snowboarding.

    I love your videos, I started to learn snowboarding 2 weeks ago, had an instructor first, but he didn't help much, learned lots by watching your videos, now after snowboarding 3 times, I can easily do snow plow, turns, carving.     I've got my ollies and nollies down, think skating as a kid has helped a lot.. buttering is ok, popped a couple 180s out of a tail press. Been out for a week with a rib injury though.. Just wondered what injuries you've had and how long you can last staying off the slopes?? 7 days is killing me.. we've just had a dump in France aswell.
