Jill Anderson exactly, you know why only single shot weapons can headshot Spartans in the games? it's because only weapons like that have the stopping power to go thru the thick armor. the only reason weapons like the assault rifle can kill them is because it has enough force behind each shot that the impact still cause damage

+ODST 327 I said that in order to equal the match, i chose to not equip spartans with energetic shield. Forthemore, the soldiers have jacket bullets, it can pierce titanium armor. But in the part 2 (im actualy making it), spartans will get their energetic shield.

All halo needed to win: 4 Spartan fire teams (COD guns would do nothing to their armor maybe snipers would make a scratch) and the Infinity
A 50.cal would do. Also the A-10 Warthog has bullets that are very strong. Check the weopon system of that thing

Spartans would never have lost a single man to 21st century infantry. not even if they were, say, SEALs. Powered Assault Armor would have been too sturdy for most firearms (you'de need an anti-material rifle to pierce it, MAYBE), the energy shields would barely be scratched by modern weaponry, and we can't forget their superior training, which is light-years ahead of any other soldier of today, simply because we don't train kids to fight wars.
Oh, and Spartan augmentations. Even simple Orion (SPARTAN Is) soldiers woulda been vastly superior to modern soldiers in terms of stamina, strength, speed, agility, and awareness, let alone how superior a Spartan II, III, or IV would be. Gen 2 MJOLNIR puts Spartan IVs equal to IIs in terms of physical prowess.
So basically, their really shouldn't have been a fight. Just a slaughter for our modern dudes wearing primitive Kevlar.
+Follower of Revan And the Temple of the Sith Well, if u know anything about spartan armor, then u would know that the armors biggest weakness is itself. Its been know that the armor, if not powered, can crush the wearer inside. You also dont know that the armor can ONLY be worn by spartans. If worn by anybody else, as explained in a halo book, then it would crush them with agonizing pain. You also dont know that if the spartans cant be cloned anymore because their machine breaks down or other emergency, you have regular marines battling normal marines. As compared with modern technology, a kevlar would never crush the wearer, and it would provide a very good protection for a single man. All these shields and armor and stuff weighs about 1-3 tons. How will you take off a pelican, or whatever with a full company of them. Think about the armor weight taking the crew along with them and crashing and dying. Next time think about what you're going to say.

This is why call of duty and other franchises r going to garbage, and games like battlefield are rising. Also, a ton equals 2000 pounds, not 1000. Also, the newer Spartan IVs armor, Gen 2 MJOLNIR, only ways a couple hundred pounds, so you could easily load a full platoon of them into a Pelican. Plus, even a full compartment of Spartan IIs would barely way as much as an approximately 25-30 ton MBT- the Scorpion -which the Pelican series of dropship is DESIGNED to carry around without issue. It can handle a few Spartans in terms of weight.
But again, I must ask, what does any of this have to do with their combat effectiveness? Any form of modern special forces- assuming these guys were, say, Rangers -would have been annihilated by even Spartan IIIs without much issue, let alone IIs or IVs.
Also, I have zero problem with what you like or dislike. You may be a fan of Battlefield more than Halo, that's up to you, dude. Ain't my business, so I could care less. And yes, the campaign for Halo 5 is dull and boring, but Halo 4's campaign isn't actually bad. It sure ain't no Halo 3, but it ain't terrible, either.
But, once again, we stray from the topic, which is... well, Spartan IIs/IIIs/IVs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Any modern infantry.

ye i know but in this vid, i chose to not equip spartans with a titanium armor/ energetic shield because spartans are too strong. I did this choice in order to make the fight equal (sry for my english ^^)

les spartans ont toujours des boucliers énergétiques, apres tu fais comme tu veux, même si sans bouclier, les 2 equipes sont au même pied d égalité.
+1999Gael repost : pour ce qui est des boucliers énergétiques, j'ai fait ce choix par facilité (un bouclier c'est dur à animer en montage lol), et c'est aussi afin d'assurer un équilibrage des équipes.
