@@idk-qq1hwok but just because its emotional doesnt make it art. this literally sounds like a dying cat. it sounds like shit, not art or music. i saw something funny about will smith and saw in the comments abt willows music so i came to check it out. and everyone in the comments is either just trying to defend willow or say why shes so underrated. and someone said shes a genius. like no. joji and billie eillish are geniuses of our time, they ACTUALLy have emotional music. every single song they make is super emotional and artistic. the only good song i like of willow smith is Wait a Minute. and i used to love that song, but none of her other music sounds like it and now i know why, bcuz willow smith just wrote the lyrics but someone else made the song. every other song sounds exactly like you said, emotional, but not in a good way. like a kid having a temper tantrum or anxiety attack type of emotional, like this is her outlet for her angst. which like someone else said, wait a minute would have sounded completely different if willow made it herself and that was the song that rlly jump started her music career. so to think maybe she wouldnt have been making music for this long as she wouldnt have been as successful without that producer. but lucky for her, but none of her other songs are realky even scratching at getting as close as popular as that song is. it has almost 300million views i think. bcuz ill admit that song was actually rlly good and emotional. but i hate how ppl r saying her other songs r good when clearly the numbers arent lying. these songs just do not compare to that one at all.

Artists like her are SOOOO RARE in this day and age. In the age of most music sounding the song and zero originality and just a lack of effort, this tract and this artist truly stands out from the others. I love when artists take risks and are avant-garde I their approach of making music. You can clearly tell that she is AN ARTIST. Period. An artist means that she doesn't have to please the masses. She does this because SHE loves it. She isn't producing music for radio or for the pop world or whatever. She does it purely because she has TRUE AUTHENTIC PASSION for music. PERIOD. This kind of music is only reserved for people who are TRULY special in this world, it's only reserved for people who ACTUALLY has EXCELLENT taste in music. Those people are rare gems in this world. Most people only listen to basic bland pop music with barely any substance but Miss. Willow has THE TALENT, Sweetness. She has T-A-L-E-N-T. Not many people in this corrupt industry can say that. PERIOD. This song really took me to another dimension. It felt so mystical, like I was put under hypnosis and I was transported on a different planet. Just the way she's singing is so pure and so magical and ethereal to me. I've never really heard someone sing that way before so this is really a special new thing for me. I'm quite impressed with her music and it takes A LOT to make me impressed. 😊🥰 congratulations on the album, my dear! 😩

I definitely have heard this type of music before in the 90’s but, of course, I’m old enough to remember. There’s nothing new under the sun. However, human take what came before them and evolve it, and put their generations flavor on it to give us something different. Why be aggravated by that? You and I did it too. We thought something was new that our parents and grandparents heard already.
absolutely no serious person thinks she's doing anything new genre wise, Willow herself publicly wears her influences and you can hear it all over this record. Be it Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote, or Fiona Apple/Tori Amos, prog pop, jazz, etc it's all music that's been made before, but it's still good to see a pop artist explore these avenues and evolve their own personal sound and find their musical identity through it.
