Watch Lad what can u say about the gold tone? Im afraid it wont last long
@@relosapulso It holds up decently. If you plan on wearing this watch every single day and you work a laborious job then it will definitely wear down a lot faster. But if you take care of it you can definitely get a lot of life out of it.
I wish you wouldve explained the accuracy you observed over the time you wore it. All reviewers fail to point this out for some reason, i know the watch is very accurate i have the 8926 and it gains 4 seconds in 30 days. This kind of detail is nice to hear in reviews!
The real beauty of the Pro Diver is the fact that you can wear it daily and not worry about scratches and dings. I own a Submariner and it's in the bank deposit box 95% of the time and when it isn't I'm worrying about messing up the finish. With the Invicta.....no worries and I always seem to get compliments about also.
I suspect your not telling the truth… I actually do have rolex, tudor, seiko and some Chinese brands and still the Invicta is a bad deal…. I wear my rolex very often.. a sub should be worn regularly. Don’t worry it’s made to last scratches and dings give it character and it will still retain value more then an Invicta!
@@gman6862🫡
Sure. Because paying $50 for a nice looking watch that works well is a bad deal. Not much logic in that statement, son.
Finally a thread with Invicta enthusiasts, or at least supporters.
yes idk why people keep bashing this great watch !
all mine have been really reliable , look amazing and super accurate, Invictas fit the bill perfectly.
@@tommytran7775 this is very subjective, but i don't like the symbol on the hour hand
I mean, how can you be an Invicta enthusiast?
@@Andino. what do you mean by that?
It's not an insult to Rolex if the watch looks the same. It's more like the people who can actually afford real Rolex watches don't want poor people wearing similar looking watches for cheaper prices.
Commando Master why do u have to be poor to wear an invicta I’m not poor nor am I rich but love invicta
I’m not poor and I love invicta watches
£10k on w watch or £100, they both just tell the time
It’s not James Bond with rocket 🚀 launchers etc
Honestly speaking Submariner is also a homage of some earlier Blancpain watch :D
Imitation is the sincerest from of flattery, there is a reason why everyone copies the rolex submariner.... Because it is an iconic watch design.
I could write a check for a brand new Rolex with zero effect on my finances or lifestyle. I own Seiko 5s, Orient Bambinos and Invicta divers. However I have better things to do with $13k than trying to impress strangers or bloggers.

I’d rather someone buy this over a fake Rolex any day
100% agree.
This basically is a fake Rolex.
I think this is what they call homage. To quote, An homage watch is one that apes the look of a more famous existing timepiece - sometimes vintage, sometimes contemporary - but sells for a fraction of the price of its inspiration. Homage watches should not be confused with fakes or replicas.
@@saj9814 Looking at 6:30, the Invicta has recreated every single feature of the Rolex. That to me goes beyond an homage and ventures into ripoff territory. I think it's fine to create an homage but when you've copied the case, copied the bezel, copied the crown, copied the hands, copied all the markers, copied the dial and copied the bracelet I think you've basically just created a cheap copy, not an homage.
An homage yes. A fake rolex no. A fake rolex has the word rolex printed on the dial.
I'll take the Invicta and two good Gibson guitars....
Or PRS
Hell yeah, bought me a new invicta and an 85' MIJ strat for less than $600. A hell of a birthday!
i bought a Invicta and a nice used porsche boxster for the cost of a Rolex., That was 5 years ago, neither the Porsche or the invicta has given me any trouble so far
@@anniesuarez4218 Wow, what a deal! Very classy by the way.
I have a Vostok Automatic watch , A Martin DM12 mahogany 12 string guitar and a Martin D16RGT Rosewood 6 string.
All Genuine and to be honest, the D16RGT sounds as good as a D28 who’s is, like a £1000 quid more expensive..
It’s all about value for money with me ..... I would say the D16RGT is Martin’s secret guitar..... basically made from same materials as the famous D28, apart from slightly different shaped internal bracing and neck fit.
The Vostok is BOMBPROOF and if things get a bit Leary , you could take it off your wrist, and use it as a Cosh ( without damaging it ) and seriously break jaws with it.
And my DM12 twelve string sounds like a heavenly choir on its best behaviour..
I Do like Gibson’s ... The ES-355, in Cherry is truly a thing of beauty... you could buy a Copy of one.... but it would NEVER be as good as the real deal.
More expensive don’t necessarily better quality, on a graph, the quality curve would no way math the expense curve.
Most Wankstains that own Custom Martin D45’s can barely play more than 4 chords and have a catalogue of half a dozen tunes they can strum along with... AND... they have them hung on the wall ( on show ) like a stuffed Gnu’s head they shot in a cage, while on Safari, bonding with other Galoots at a drive through ‘Hunt’ less than a mile from their Hotel next to the fuckin Airport.
Glad I got that off my chest.
Thanks for listening xxx
I've owned several Pro divers and find no sense behind the Invicta-bashing so prevalent on the net. They are attractive, reliable and affordable. What more can you ask for?
I think Pro Diver and their 1953 models are great value for money, but their rest watch line pretty much big no-no for any watch enthusiast :D
Just some watch snobs who can't accept that an $80 watch can be functionally similar to an $8000 watch.
There's a boneheaded snob in other comment threads who keeps asserting that this Invicta is a "fake Rolex". Looks like he doesn't know how many details should be checked in a watch to spot a fake. This means he already could be owning an actual fake Rolex without even knowing it. Lol
@@chnacr2 And Rolex Submariner is also a homage :D
My main doubts regarding Invictas are aesthetical rather than functional.
@@snowmean1My previous comment was a reply to eronavbj, actually.
I don't care about the rest of the Invicta line. But they have several Pro Diver models which look good, and are great value for money at the sub $80 range.
At this budget, it's aimed at people who don't care about brand image - i.e most normal people in the world.
Well everyone has different tastes, not everyone is gonna like the styling of invicta but I wouldn't bash on someone for wearing one, honestly imo. I'd consider invicta as a gateway to the watch collecting world, kinda put them at the same rank as Timex, good entry level brand
Just bought this model. Watch snobs be damned, this is a great watch at an even greater price. Once owned two Rolex Submariners and Seamaster Bond 300 in quart and automatic versions. Superlative watches but the MSRP is way out of the league of many watch enthusiasts. So, if you want a watch that is handsome and a very good value, you can’t go wrong with the Invicta 8928OB. And, if you get a little depressed not being able to own a Seamaster, consider the Invicta 9094, a nice hybrid of features which I call my “Submaster.” Very fair and unbiased review; great job!
well said!
watch snobs eat lots of nuts..bunch of clowns who think their opinions matter...
I have a Rolex 16610 Submariner but I like Invicta watches, have owned several and I think this is a great timepiece. It's no Rolex but then, it's not supposed to be. The design is replicated to resemble the iconic Oyster Rolex. If you can't afford a timepiece like Rolex then there is absolutely no shame in owning and using this watch.
Michael i have a black and a blue sub dont like them they sit and look pretty i use my invicta
@@steve19745 I could babysit your subs for you :)
@@7khon731 Lol dude your comments are literally hilarious
Submariner, Oyster you have a great confusion in your brain.
Well said. I love Invicta watches because I find them a great value. I could afford a Rolex but I find them a bad value because 99% of what you are paying for is the brand. I'd rather put the $15K into something with a better ROI.
It's sad and amazing at the same time that my pro diver is more accurate than my Tissot Seastar 1000
You can take your tissot to get serviced and regulated if the time bothers you
@@opulan My Tissot actually became very accurate later down the road. True I could get it serviced but I got it grey market since I'd never pay full price for a tissot
Invicta have been around since the 1800s so I'm not surprised. They are actually good watches if your not a snob
I have a Tissot LeLocal eta it stopped running my Seiko's Orient's and Invicta's still run.
So far after about a year on, my INVICTA Pro Diver 8926ob all stainless steel is still one of my favorite watches. At 40mm, it has such a good presence on the wrist without looking too big. It also avails itself to change from the bracelet to the strap of your choice quite easily. I probably will give way to temptation, and get the this gorgeous deep royal blue dialed two tone version at some point this year. Thanks very much for your review.
Appreciate it! Glad you liked the review!
dude honestly finally someone does a good review on this watch, its very underrated because everybody always hates on invicta
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Agree
It makes me laugh that the Invicta has the same movement in it that half the crowd-funded boutique makers try to get away with charging $500 for.
LOL true!
I have a few chinese watches featuring NH35 that cost $40 AND have as good finishing as Invicta. With sapphire crystal too. Never again paying hundreds for watches with same specs.
@@DM-rc4yu wait really?? What watches are those?
Look up nh35 on dhgate
But then again those watches are of limited runs and has a smaller economic of scale when compared to Invicta and having their own designs when compared to Invicta.
Totally agree with this review 100%, I have the same exact watch for over 5 years now and am very satisfied with it, looks very sharp and classy and it still looks and works like new, great quality watch for it's cost.
Love all my invicta watches! Thanks for your informative video.
Got one last week, they're great. Thanks very much for the video.
Can you change the moving dial? Mine isnt sharp as this
agree 100%, i have a 9094OB that is 1 year old now and it's working flawlessly as a multi purpose watch (normal use, swim and dive) and it never had an issue. it's just simply great value for the money and it keeps working great.
Mine is working flawlessly as well! Amazing watch for the price.
Can't fault mine either, I have the 8927 and 8928OB's and they are both great watches

Probably the most unbiased review of this watch I’ve read. It states the case clearly without possessing that sense of posh snobbery that a lot of reviews display. And the watch itself: extremely decent FOR THE MONEY!
Great honest review.
In my opinion it’s all about the movement of this watch. I have two Stainless OB divers and the one I’m currently wearing is incredibly accurate, as it has an error of only about three seconds in 48 hours. In my opinion, that’s excellent for an automatic watch at this price. I’m not a huge fan of the bracelet, so I replaced it with a nice NATO. Really a good look in my opinion. At $85 from Amazon, I can wear this watch anywhere and not worry about it getting damaged, lost, or stolen. I was fortunate to have gotten the brushed stainless rotor before Invicta changed to the bright yellow rotor which I’m not crazy about. But you don’t really see it so that doesn’t matter much to me.
Lastly, if I want to wear a special watch that I am proud of, I’ll put on my grandfather’s Leroy et Cie Chrono, or my dad‘s Heuer 844 Monnin. Both are in my safe, and unfortunately neither are as accurate as my Invictas. Go figure!
.
Probably the most unbiased and honest review of Invictas I’ve read, free of any snarky and snobbish implications. Very good job; have worn this exact watch for several months and your review is absolutely spot on.
I have enjoyed this watch over 10 years now I still love it.
Great vid. Really good editing, enjoyed the music without drowning you out. And the content of course. Keeping this watch on the affordable purchase list. Thx.
These things are built like tanks. I have the all-gold ion-plated model. After a few years, it shows no noticeable signs of wear or discoloration. The piece is an oldie powered by a Miyota movement. I cannot begin to afford a Rolex, so whenever I get the itch, I wear the Invicta.
I fill this so much !!! My most favorite watch on earth is a Rolex … but like you I cannot afford it. This will do fine !
Well executed video. I especially like the subtle transitions and background music. Content is spot on. I purchased an Invicta Pro Diver 2-mos ago - black dial w/ silicone band. It is an incredible value and now my primary daily driver. The value and craftsmanship of these Invicta models is outstanding given the market space they occupy. So, let’s wear our Invicta Pro Divers with pride because snobs don’t make the world turn. That's interesting. I did not know that Invicta was founded in Switzerland.
Yep, it's a little known fact. But the original owners were the Picard family. Who were very respected watch makers in Switzerland at the time.

Wow!!! Great watch review video, Amazing how adding the chilled music made the video so much more relaxing to watch.

Great review man. Love the video. I’m definitely getting this watch 🥰
I've had this 9094OB since January 2018. I love it and it has become my daily driver. The stainless steel is top notch and the quality is hard to fault but of course you shouldn't compare it to a real Sub that feels a lot more solid but costs $8,000 or more. The only things I'm not fond of are the press clasp and safety as well as the bezel insert, which can easily get scratched. Mine already has several scratches but then what watch doesn't get beaten up with daily use. For $80 or so, it's a terrific daily driver. Marvel at how it costs 1% the price of a real Sub while still delivering such level of quality and features.
It's only ten grand or so cheaper than a Submariner....
haha some subs are up to 14 thousand! So yea I think I'll stick with the invicta pro diver...

Only watch snobs hate Invicta. They can't get passed the fact that even though they do put out a few tacky watches here and there the Pro Diver is hands down one of the best legitimate diving watches out there for under $100
Facts
I bought an invicta prodiver scalloped bezel with nh35 movement. My first impression with this watch is that for $60 its a great watch. I wish invicta didn’t become too pretentious on their msrp, but stick to their roots of wanting an affordable well made watch at least because “swiss made” is basically gone.
@@juliusmadridejos4018 I agree, if you can get past invicta's cringey marketing tactics and their few tacky watches. They are an awesome brand. They really don't get the credit that they deserve.
@@juliusmadridejos4018 Agreed, Invicta really should just stop with the big bulky watches that they are known for. The Pro diver is fantastic, but alot of their stuff is just tacky as heck!
@@kentmccroskey8161 Yea, true. haha like I said tacky as hell! BUT I will say this... Even though a lot of Invicta's watches are super big and bulky that doesn't take a way from the fact that even those ones are still pretty good quality for the money when it comes to the movement and the specs/materials... It's just the designs that kill it for me.

WoW! A Very rare honest assessment of an Invicta Watch... Thanks!

I bet you if they retailed their prices at $10,000 + it would “be a astonishing time piece” people think the price is what makes the brand
This is very true... people think just because it's super expensive it must mean that it's always an amazing value for the money or something. Laughable.
Luu Cam not true, watch people love seikos and you can get some of them for £60
@jay I know they are great watches for the price but I’m saying that if they sold their watches at a higher price the hype beasts and celebrities will be promote it just like how they promote Rolex’s
@@luucamNY This is very true. Happens alll the time.
It does make you wonder how overpriced the cost of a high end watch is vs what it could be. But if this exact watch rebranded and went for a high dollar it would be slammed. The lume is a faaar cry, movement accuracy is about 10 seconds lost a day give or take, vs ~1 or less for a rolex, material is genuine in a rolex and finish is great, the clasp is stamp steel vs a rolex's adjustable milled steel, hollow end links vs solid, scratchable mineral crystal vs sapphire, ceramic bezel vs aluminum. Essentially the real rolex is far and away a better watch. And I suppose the rolex does have a reputation behind it which I'm sure aids pricing. However most respect to Invicta for creating this miracle of a watch for the price. For the price it is a great one. Now for a submariner homage I'd point to the phoibos sx002, for 100-120 it's an incredible bargain and rumored to be using steinhart parts without the markup. It is however a swiss quartz Ronda 515 movement but to get a super accurate and reliable automatic movement it costs a whole lot to get there so in that price point I'd say quartz is preferable. In essence for ~1.5-2 times the price of an Invicta pro diver you can end up with a watch much closer to a submariner in specs than a pro diver
Great video! Thanks!
just discovered your channel, excellent review , just subscribed , best to you and all !
Thank you Oliver!
Totally agree with what you have said about this particular watch by Invicta. I like many other watch collectors was wary about purchasing one because of all the bad reviews on Invicta being ugly and too big on some models and also over their pricing. I looked on Amazon UK for the Pro Diver watches and saw the Invicta 8927 OB which is the two tone gold/black version of this watch after seeing a review of a watchmaker in the UK who also did an in depth review and he had nothing but praise for the quality of this watch which he paid £75 for. On Amazon I got the watch for £69.99 in an Amazon sale. It is an amazing watch and everything the watchmaker said about the quality was true. I have since purchased the 8927 OB which I love also. I have a good collection of watches and for cost and value for money these two watches I now own is hard to beat.
Agreed, for this price range it's hard to beat the quality of the pro diver.
Invictas are hard to beat when quality and price come into account. Not all of us can afford a sub-mariner and why shouldn't we wear something that looks great and is affordable. Personally, I like the larger Grand Diver watches, but there are alot of nice Invictas to chose from. The somewhat new release Invicta model 20072 with the orange strap is a very fun sporty watch, I've bought 3 as gifts and they all love it.
I have the same watch and I agree with you 100% it's a fantastic watch in every way you look at it
The best review of the watch! I have 2 Pro diver in my collection and I will add some more in my collection. The Pro diver is the only Invicta that I'm interested so far.
Invicta makes amazing watches. I own twenty of them with eta's to meteorite dials. I only have two Rolex's that are not amazing. Invicta makes watch collecting fun. They even have a collectors cruise to the Islands every year. When did Rolex ever give anyone oxygen. Great Video and thanks for sharing.

Thanks Peter!
I've got four of these. One of them is from the early 2000s and is inferior to the models offered now; it does not have a hack feature, and the pins holding the bracelet together are so loose that the watch has literally fallen off my hand. The three newer ones have the superior movement which DOES have the hack feature, and I have had no issues with the bracelets. The watches keep reasonably good time out of the box; being a tinkerer, I have opened mine up and fiddled with the regulator arms so that they gain around 6 seconds per day, quite good for a mechanical watch. Of course, opening the case back voids any warranty as well as compromises the water resistance, but I truly wouldn't trust these diving anyway. For $75 to $100, forget bothering with the warranty, and forget servicing the watch; it's cheaper to replace the movement than to overhaul it, and cheaper overall to just replace the watch. I love mine, and am just as happy to wear one of these as I am my Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch.
i have this watch over two jears and i use it everday its a really good watch for the price and it never breaks no matter what you doing
I have been wearing the 9937 swiss movement version for around 15 years, been in oceans maybe to a depth of 60 feet or so no serious diving per se but it's kept great time, garnered many compliments and has never had so much as a hiccup...great watch for the money.
That was my 3rd Invicta Pro Diver. I got it about 7 years ago. It was great. Very beautiful piece for the money. Great value. I'm going to get another one & change out the band with an aftermarket one. Only watch snobs and people who would rather hate on a Sub $100 watch would hate on it. Good video!

Please upload more! I just subscribed! Love what you have so far
Thanks for the support! More content coming soon!
A good watch period. Have several Invictas. They run well and look good. Have diver with a pave dial. Looks incredible in sunlight. Many compliments.
One of my favorite watches, I wear it all the time.
The best review of this watch!) Excellent job!!)
Hello from Russia
Thank you!
You should really do one on the Grand Diver. I just purchased one and would love to hear your take on it.
I have 3 Grand Divers...the oldest being 12 years old. It's a two tone just like the one in the video...and I wear it quite a bit.
It has the same NH35A movement, and since I keep it in a watch winder, it's like owning a quartz watch. The gold plating still looks brand new...and the crystal has no scratches at all.
I prefer the larger watches, mainly because I am 6'6" and the size of an NFL Offensive Lineman. In fact...I played 3 years of college football as an O Lineman....and have nearly a 9 inch wrist. I have a pretty large collection of watches...from the mid 1920's to present day. Quite a few are Invicta's...and I have never had any problems with them The quartz watches just get a new battery about once every 4 years...and my automatics get cleaned and tested about every other year.
Like everything else mechanical...keeping it serviced regularly will add years of enjoyment to you watch...and even cleaning a $75 watch is a good investment.
I own one. It has identical movement and Lume. The only difference is the bigger body gives it an additional 100M of water resistance.
I also have and really like my grand diver
Thank you for your in depth Review sir! I agree!
Good detailed review!
First off, I love, love, love Invicta watches, I have around 20 pieces, all automatic. So no Invicta hater watch snob is here, quite the opposite.
But let me make three small corrections: current Florida based Invicta group nothing to do with original Invicta brand. They just bought the name of a bankrupted, long time gone Swiss watch company. Many mushroom watch brand did it recently. No any problem with this but it is not reborn of original Invicta. It is a name purchase and a new company. Once again, it is perfectly fine.
Second as far as I know pro divers with Japanese movements has no flame fusion glass. Except Signature collection like 7049 model. Only Swiss made or Swiss Movement type of Pro Divers has the flame fusion besides Seiko movement Signature Pro Divers. Well might others, but definitely not 8928 and similar 40 mm Japanese movement pro divers.
Third Flame Fusion glass is not simply a hardened mineral glass. It is way more than this, actually the most genius part of higher class Invicta watches, because it is a mineral glass with artificial /synthetic/ sapphire coating on the glass. Why it is genius idea? Sapphire glass is hard therefore very scratch resistant BUT break easily. That is why for example Seiko professional diver watches barely used them, because if a watch glass brakes underwater it means the divers watch cant be used anymore so divers cant follow the passing time so they have to come up right away. Unlike sapphire, on the other hand mineral is easy to scratch but hard to break, that is why they are better to be used for diver watches than sapphire. Yes, I know Rolex and other manufacturers making diver watches and using sapphire. I know, but it is because uneducated or/and never diving buyers thinking sapphire is more expensive therefore it is better. It is true except when it comes to diver watches purchased for scuba diving purposes. So Invicta developed a technology which can combine scratch resistance of sapphire with shatter resistance of mineral glass. Perfect and ingenuous. I have some Invicta watches bough just because of flame fusion glass on them, one of them the previously mentioned 7049.
Okay. But sapphire is just plain better than other kinds of Glas for diving. Most professional diving watches have sapphire - see omega ploprof, Rolex deepsea, Seiko prospex diver, seamaster, submariner, blancpain bathyscaphe- literally any higher priced diving watches for real professionals. Even some dive computers have sapphire glass..

I just ordered a Pro Diver 1770, a 43mm Sub homage that also has a chronograph and ... *quartz movement.* It has this flame fusion crystal and I got it for just $54. Hasn't arrived yet though, after 6 days. Good grief these online stores sure take their sweet time.
Why awesome comment. Rolex snobs are going to be pissed LOL!
My pro diver 17887 has a flame fusion crystal and it’s quartz movement
I remember this was my first watch, when I got it I thought it was the best looking watch. I had never known anything about watches. Next thing I knew I'm collecting all sorts of brands and shapes.
It's certainly a gateway watch! haha
Beautiful watch and good review.
Had seen the Invicta's for a while and recently decided to try one.
This watch was a great watch.... and that is what lead me to the SKX007. I loved my Invincta.... but would never go back. Great video. Thanks.
Its a great watch for the price point which is typically around $75. I picked mine for under $50 and so it was definitely a bargain as even Seiko does not offer watches with their NH35 at this price point. I do not understand people's complaint about the bracelet, esp that it is only a pressed clasp and no solid end links; given the price I am surprised it even comes with the steel bracelet. Honestly, I've so far never had problems with either of these.
I'v had mine for over 2 years now and its taken its fair share of nicks and scuffs, but it still runs great around 6-8 seconds per day and I am plenty happy with it. It is one of my top picks when I go on a vacation as I would not worry much if it were to get stolen or misplaced and it suits almost all occasions, be it formal or casual or at the beach. Probably the best value for money in my collection.
LOL!
Im buying Invicta pro diver this Coming May 2019.😉
Awesome Antonio! Enjoy your new watch!
Did you buy?
gd luck, you will never be able to buy just one lol
Gotta get one! Love it! Thanks
I own two of these gems and they are built like tanks! Great timekeeping, water resistance and great value for money!
I am fortunate that I don't listen to haters who hate for the sake of hating. Good video-thanks for vindicating my argument about the great value that this brand represents. I own (for now) 14 Invictas, most of them Pro & Grand Divers, all with the Seiko automatic movement. I also own a few quartz pieces, but have not had ANY issues since purchasing over 3 years ago. I wear them every day, matching them to what I'm wearing to the office. I also own other brands including many vintage watches. If you have contracted the watch snob illness, then please get help. Go ahead and purchase the very expensive watches so you can impress your friends...I'm too busy enjoying my watches to care what you think. Again, great video and you have a new subscriber. I wish you the best!
Thanks for the support Angelo!
Hey you would hate too if you spent $15k to $25K on a Rolex and saw an Invitca that looked and performed nearly as good for under $100 lol.
I think invicta is a good brand...some of the bigger pieces have way to high a profile and are way too big and heavy...also battery watches are battery watches whether the movements are made in china or switzerland
Swiss quartz movements are way better than the Chinese ones, which would stop working sometimes or exhaust a new battery too soon.
Spot on review. I have had mine for 6 manths or so and it works and feels great.
Thanks Corey! Glad you enjoy it!
my invicta 8926OB was one of the first automatics i purchased in 2007. I still have it in my collection among the Rolex GMTII, explorer II, Subc. I still love having my 8926. running strong at the beach and still doesnt have any scratches on the crystal. It was an amazing starter watch and still offers amazing value. wearing it now.
forgot to mention had orange monster, orients, omega speedmaster, seamaster, most of which have been flipped, but not my invicta.
I've had the watch for a few months now, and I absolutely love it except for two things.
1. The accuracy is -7 seconds a day, which means I have to set it once or twice a week for reasonable time accuracy.
2. the 12 oclock bezel mounted lume dot just fell off and is gone. The lume material was just put in a hole in the bezel, and not in a protective ring.
Interesting. I guess This particular movement prides itself more on the reliability end than the accuracy end. Because it's definitely a great movement for the price when it comes to reliability.
@@chrisstevenson9587 I could open the caseback and regulate it and improve the accuracy. I'm just afraid to do it because I'm worried about maintaining the water resistance.
@@Raistlen007 Ahh good point. But how would you possibly render the water resistance just by taking off the case-back and putting it back on? Also, now I'm curious... haha how does one go about taking off the case back of the pro diver? And improving it's accuracy?
@@chrisstevenson9587 the ridges around the case back are for a tool that grabs the ridges and turns like a wrench. The regulation levers are around the escapement wheel
@@Raistlen007 I was wondering about those ridges! Thanks for the info!
Unbeatable!!For the price
Where to buy invicta watch pls reply to me ta
@@hendraleonard1851 on Amazon
Hendra Leonard Yep amazon is where I got mine
@@hendraleonard1851 waite for prime day... I got mine for 42 bucks for the nh35 automatic......
I picked on of these up because I liked the look and didn’t want to spend to much. It’s been a great watch and I haven’t ever regretted buying it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Buying mine next weekend. Looking forward to it. Great review. New subscriber. Regards from Australia.
Great video. I agree with all your points, although mine's not the same model - I received the Invicta Grand Diver 18160 (Midnight Blue) for Christmas. I love it! My wrist is pretty big and it fits and sits perfectly. Great value for these watches. Mine set me back only $78.00 US. The midnight blue is such a pretty color with a sunburst dial, sometimes I can't help but stare at it when out and about. Couldn't be happier!
Appreciate it Cory. Glad you like your Grand Diver!
I am vintage watch collector and you’ll be surprised that they do have few beautiful vintage time pieces. Although recently they have churned out monstrosity one after another!!!!! I a hate them................. But with that being said one thing that they got right is the pro diver, I too used to make fun of these watches, act like a snob until I got one,it might not be a Rolex but it’s not bad it’s beautiful and I like it!!!!! there I said it. Nice video bro keep it up!!!
Thanks for the support! Appreciate it!
Agree 100%. Have a 5 years old piece in excellent condition. Kept the case also. Great video.
Thanks!
I bought this same watch almost 8 years ago, but haven't worn it because I've been wearing several of my other brand watches the past 5 years. After seeing this video I may have to take it out into the daylight on my wrist. Excellent watch for the money!!
