I am glad I could help! Be careful when you reinstall them not to drup one between the seat and the gearbox like I did :). I had to wait to get another one and take the dashboard down once again. Those W1.2W bulbs are really tricky to handle.
@@m3rovingian weirdly when I opened the unit to get to the bulbs there were two springs and two small pieces of plastic just rolling round inside. Can't see anything broken and all the features work fine so not sure where they've come from 🫣
@@christophpeterson1023 You need to put them back in. They are from the 2 buttons that enable the AC and the back windshield heating I think.

I have a problem with the fan speed 4 on the Renault Clio 3 .. I don't know, I haven't found out what could be the problem, whether it's just the switch that doesn't work properly or some electric wire connector at the rheostat itself.. All the other three speeds work without problems, that's why I was interested in this video contribution of yours.. Warm greetings..
@@sinisaradosevic6794 Maybe it's time to replace the fan. I had mine swapped 2 years ago when it started to make a noise vibration. They are damaged over time.

Fain clipul, Reno at its best !....totusi la tine se lucreaza frumos, in sensul ca vin toate la linie; cand am schimbat becul la tigaia mea, se vezi contorsionism ce trebuia sa fac, mam ambitionat sa nu scot consola centrala si am reusit dupa multe chinuri, la tigaie comanda e pe cabluri si innebunesti pana le asezi la loc......
La meg inca nu stiu, si sper sa nu aflu vreodata, mai ales dupa chinurile cu schimbatul filtrului de polen.....la chestii din astea Reno rullz, dar are si parti ff bune, la motor.....dar fereasca Dzeu sa ai vreo pana la chestiile de confort din habitaclu ca iti blestemi zilele :)))))
Eu am stat o ora ca sa scot mufa de radio!!! La modelele Clio 3 dinainte de 2011 nu aveau mufa aia cu siguranta. Se scotea normal. Insa astia i-au pus 100 de sigilii si am crezut ca inebunesc. Dupa aceea totul a fost foarte simplu, doar ca am lucrat incet, ca prima data :) Cireasa de pe tort a fost cand am scapat al doilea beculetsub frana de mana. Acolo ramane pe viata :)) Acum mi-am comandat inca 2 becuri si cand vin o sa mai dau inca o data jos totul ca sa il inlocuiesc si pe cel vechi, fiindca nu mai are putere. Acum in partea unde nu lumina deloc inainte, e lumina mult mai puternica. Vreau sa fie totul uniform :)
Insa asa e. Cand vine vorba de dat jos protectii sau masti de interior de la Renault, trebuie sa ne inarmam cu multa rabdare si grija. Ma simt norocos ca n-am rupt nimic.

Se scoate greu consola franei de mana? Pe mine ma enerveaza chestiile cazute asa,nam rabdare pana nu le scot....
Daca il vezi ( becul) poti improviza cu un magnet sal prinzi ( daca are soclu metal) sau cu un scotch ( nu de baut😁) / gheara....
Ajuta mult becurile, mai ales noaptea....ce bajbaiam dupa reglajul caldurii....

Eu acolo-l las ca nu se vede. Fiind beculet din ala mic W1.2W n-are niciun soclu metalic, insa cu scotch-ul sau banda adeziva puternica e o idee foarte buna. O sa ma mai uit dupa el, insa foarte probabil s-a dus jos de tot. l-am cautat sub toate scaunele si covorasele cu lanterna. Nimic!
Cand am aspirat ultima data masina am gasit 3 euro rataciti sub scaun, de asta vara, de la calatoria in Muntenegru :)) Stateam pe bani si nu stiam!

Clar :)) Abia astept sa fac runda a doua. Doar sa-mi vina pachetul. Am comandat si un adaptor de mufa radio, in cazul in care decid sa schimb casetofonul. 3 lei si-umpic am dat pe ea. Sper sa se potriveasca.

@@jordy5745 For sure they can be detached from there. I didn't try it but from what I see in the video they are displaceable. You'll have to remove again some metal clips there. Just make sure to be very gentle and not break something.

What type of bulb is used in the AC unit, T10/501/w5w?
The one I replaced is T5 (w1.2w).
The one that turns on when you press the AC button you can see it right there it's even slmalled. I don't know what type that is. You can see it ar 21:12
Video was very helpful, however when removing the bulbs I managed to break both of them? Turns out they were built into the board even though they look exactly the same as what’s on the video. I have a 2012 mrk3? Not sure what to do now 🤣
Oh man, you muste've pulled the wrong bulbs out then. The one I took out are mounted there. I really don't know how you could break them. You need to have some gentleness when working with fragile car parts.

Yes. I replaced both of them after I record this tutorial. And you need to replace them in pair because even if they are not burned out, the old one will not light as well as a new bulb. Now my car looks like brand new in the center console.

Ve a un buen mecanico a ver que te dice. Es muy probable que el ventilador necesite ser reemplazado.
You can also just yank at the man trim and the whole asssembly comes out with the radio and everything, just be careful so you don’t pull the cables.
It's easy to do that maybe after many pull outs, but the first time everything was as locked as it could be. But I don't believe the radio part. If you don't have that radio kit to stick it in the 4 holes, the radio will not come out.
