Marantz 2275 receiver problem - no FM stereo, flashlight "fix"

Having a problem whereby my Marantz 2275 will not play FM radio in stereo, only mono. While trying to debug and rule out the FM-MPX board (P300), I discovered that somehow, a flashlight could temporarily "fix" it! More details on discussion thread here: audiokarma.org...
