- Did you ever expect to visit a ceramics exhibition and be asked to bring your vinyl collection along with you? Or to be invited to walk over and destroy one of the exhibits?
Fragile? showcases the beauty and diversity of contemporary ceramic practice. The exhibition ranges from traditional vessels to works which explore the nature of ceramic as a material.
The exhibition brings together key works from the collection of Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales, including ceramic works by Richard Deacon and Felicity Aylieff, as well as featuring pieces from the archaeology, industry and botany collections.
Also on view are works by four Wales-based artists - Claire Curneen, Walter Keeler, Lowri Davies and Adam Buick - shown together with specially-commissioned films that delve into each maker’s creative process.

Wnaethoch chi erioed feddwl y byddech yn ymweld ag arddangosfa gerameg lle byddai gofyn i chi ddod â’ch casgliad finyl gyda chi? Neu y byddech yn cael cyfle i gerdded dros un o’r gweithiau a’i ddinistrio?
Mae Bregus? yn edrych ar harddwch gwaith cerameg gyfoes, mewn arddangosfa sy’n amrywio o lestri traddodiadol i weithiau yn archwilio natur cerameg fel deunydd.
Mae’r arddangosfa hon yn dod â gweithiau allweddol o gasgliad Amgueddfa Cymru ynghyd, gan gynnwys gweithiau cerameg gan Richard Deacon a Felicity Aylieff, yn ogystal â darnau o gasgliadau archaeoleg, diwydiant a botaneg.
Hefyd i’w gweld mae gweithiau gan bedwar artist o Gymru - Claire Curneen, Walter Keeler, Lowri Davies ac Adam Buick - ynghyd â ffilmiau wedi’u comisiynu’n arbennig sy’n taro golwg ar broses greadigol yr artistiaid.

His ability to move between the overall shape and the detail at the working edge is incredible. Beautiful work.
This is the kind of video I love 🙂 just the artist performing his magic with clay. No sound of any thing 🙂👍🏻
It is with great pleasure that I looked at your yard film and I thank you for sharing your know-how with us.
Glazing in a child's turtle wading pool. Can I just say how much I LOVED that. Potters make it work with what they have. I can't tell you the junk I USE as tools in my studio... LOVE LOVE LOVE this.
Happy man. He found his place in this world.

I watched this video in 2x speed and he is working so delicately slow that i have to skip many times. Then i realized how patient u have to be to this job.. such a wonderful art
Bill...you really inspire the understanding and delight of clay...very cool
Well done. Inspiring.
watching this now, i remember why i had to stop all those years ago....back surgery made it impossible for me to pursue it further. wonderful video. thank you so much.
Arlene Carol me too!
Voilà une tres tres belle video merci
this video blew my mind !
Mesmerizing 😍I think I just got hypnotized 😅
Such a beautiful piece. The amount of skill and artistry needed in its creation, and then it is individually wood fired, is truly magnificent.
If you want to see a beautiful piece you should watch japanease masters, but he did a good job indeed

@@mariuszgandziarowski6932 Much too late to comment, but the Moon Jar (which this clearly is based off), is a Korean traditional form and yes, there are Korean masters who can make these forms in their sleep (Check out Lee Hyang-Gu, or Sangwon Ahn). There should also be a discussion of cultural appropriation, frankly.
Excelent!
wowww ..amazinggg....!!!

You're a 🧜 ♂️ creative legend.
Yes, you need a lot of patience and work to make such a beauty! Only an incomprehensible glaze turned out!
Даа, такую красоту сделать немалое терпение и труд нужен! Только непонятная глазурь получилась!
Very excellent
