So there is automatic hate for twin tubes in the US. I’m just recently learning about them being quality if built correctly. Learning from guys like you. Subbed

Hi mate , great video. I have a 2013 prado Kakadu and need to do a lift. Everyone tells me to buy a new car if you want to lift that because of the rear airbags. Been to TJM, ARB and other independents and get the same answer. Surely someone can do this. I don’t care if I have to get rid of the air bags and other bits and pieces just need more clearance. Cheers.

Hey Anthony. Had a squizz. Couldn't see anything on rotor and pad jobs. Any chance of a video? I'm sure there's some handy tips DIY's are missing. Cheers.

Hi mate. I do have Dobinsons monotubes all around with airbags in the rear. I couldn't be happier with the ride and the adjustability from 0kg to 300kg loads is awesome. Haven't had the chance to take them off road yet (due to Covid19) but my feeling is as they will be great. Dobinsons gave fantastic service too. My only concern is that the upper control arms are at their limit of adjustability and the lower control arm bushes are seized but the guys who did the alignment just managed to get them adjusted so the car is driving great. Having said all that would you recommend doing the control arms and bushes asap or is it something that I can do in a couple of months as the car is driving well? Cheers Steve.

    Hi Anthony, great video.
Question for ya. I have a 2016 toyota 4x4 sequoia. Planning to have following rear yellow twin tube shocks and springs on the rear. How stiff will the ride get on the rear with this set up when unloaded? Kids really love the factory cushy ride back there.
Our intent for the lift is to fit bigger AT tires for occasional camping trips. It's a kids hauler 98% of the time.

Will the Robinson twin tubes work fine with a stock height d40? I’d love to go through you but I’m in Hawaii.

I bought a prado 150 3 door 180k ( 2011 ) 3.0 diesel. Suspension never been changed. I dont like the way it rides. It feels quite unstable and there is a lot wambling.. passengers even driver gets nausea....( like beiing on a boat).i mainly do on road(80%). What suspension do you think i must purchase in order to improve the ride comfort and stability?thanks

Hi Anthony great vid thanks. I’ve just fitted a steel arb bar and winch to my 2016 prado 150 and looking to install the dobinsons ims all round. However struggling to work out what spring rate for the front and rear. Nothing in the back weight wise and only tow a runabout (about 900kgs wet) once a month. So hoping there a decent balance between harsh ride and comfort for the rears Re spring rate. Heard mixed reviews on airbags too which might hit mark if I run medium springs in the rear. Any advice really appreciated as not sure which way to go for the springs. Thanks Chris.

Do you need to use an adjustable upper control arm if you put these in or a lift kit? Or are they a con job?

Most cars at 2ich 50mm will push the upper control arms to there limit.
