Thank you Dr. Vignesh. I’m suffering from fibromyalgia for more than 10 years n only in 2019 my GP was able to correctly diagnose this condition after I changed my GP. My previous GP thought it’s in my head but my new GP diagnosed it within two visits. I’m on medication for it. Your speech was inspirational to me.

Hello doctor, Thank you very much for this video about fibramyolgia. I was suffering from body pains and all above said symptoms for past 15 years...all my test reports were normal..but severe muscle or joint pains.Doctor said it's psychological feeling.Consulted so many doctors..each doctor reported with different diagnosis like rheumatoid arthritis, vitamin deficiency, harmonal imbalances,etc..,but actually I don't have rheumatoid arthritis.They gave me steroids and pain killers.I took that without knowing it was steroid medicines for two weeks..then I came to know it was a steroid medicine and I stopped taking any kind of medicine from then.All these happened before 10 years..and now I couldn't bare my pain.I need a proper solution to reduce my pain.

Fibromyalgia is something which is invisible ...most of the medical schools not aware ..everyone think as muscular problem ....thats the reason but its controllable. Problem is many people not rely on good clinician words. 1) need questionaire screening 2) scoring & find the category of problem 3) advice for multitherapy ...but 90 percent females and males approached me and halfway they cutoff... thats real world ...
No problem madam you can try ultrasound therapy if you have pain and followed by gradual warm up graded aerobic strengthening exercises and ending up with stretching ...you must develop positive beleif it will 100 percent recover ...

So we need assessments to check the confirmed diagnosis and seggregate which type of pain you are having according to that you may need multidisciplinary team management .if you have releif withwith trigger point injections it's fine .if you have recurrences then we can see.
