I understand your frustration. We had a really good box of ink. With the paper, I was really looking forward to colored pencils and then this comes along... Upcrate really isn't what it used to be. I don't know how long I'll have a subscription for.
The pen works a lot better on the smooth side of the paper. I actually liked it but i am also a beginner so i enjoy all new art supplies
I am happy that you enjoyed it, and in my humble opinion that has nothing to do with your skill level, far more with an open mind. You are willing to like it, while i saw the paper choice and already was quite unhappy 😅

It is a shame, because i do think the pen could have been okay in the right combination,...
Ich finde auch, das Papier passt so überhaupt nicht zum Füller 🙄. Das klappt so gar nicht. Ein Desaster ist wohl tatsächlich der richtige Ausdruck dafür...
Ich bin ja nur froh, dass ich nicht der einzige bin 😅
Die Box ist wirklich etwas komisch naja ich denke darüber nach das Abo zu beenden… leider … aber in letzter Zeit finde ich die Boxen nicht mehr so dolle….und wenn das nächste mal was gutes drin ist kann man es sich ja auch nachkaufen 😊
Ganz ehrlich, wenn ich durch die Videos nicht mehr views bekommen würde als mit dem Rest was ich so mache, hätte ich das abo auch schon längst beendet.
Und ich hatte schon „befürchtet“ dass in dieser Box was besonders tolles ist, weil ich gekündigt hatte. Den Füller hab ich zu Hause und finde ihn spannend zum Zeichnen. Es gibt auch Nachfüll-Tanks dazu und kann ihn so mit jeder füllertauglichen Tinte verwenden. Aber die Zusammenstellung dieser Box ist schon recht … schwierig?! // Was ist eigentlich das Thema des Battles?
Thema war lines and graphics. Was ich dann nicht verstehe, warum packen die dann nicht so einen nachfülltank mit rein anstatt der random extra Patrone. Wäre vermutlich zu teuer gewesen, aber so war meine Begeisterung recht begrenzt 😅
@@silencreativa8199 Ja mit Nachfülltank und ner füllertauglichen Tinte wärs ein Konzept gewesen. Ja. Der Tank (Pilot Konverter) kostet in etwa genausoviel wie der Füller selbst. Ich war froh abbestellt zu haben, zumal ich ja den gleichen schon zu Hause habe und auch drei Fläschchen rote/orange Tinte … frag mich nicht wie das zustande kam 🫣

I am not sure, but they send them out around the 15th of each month, so maybe you where already to late. The question is if that is a good thing for you or not 😅

@@malurus2 maybe you have a better expierience then i do. I just can say, if you want to use the Orange, do it first and work with the Black on top, it might help.
@@silencreativa8199 perhaps. its such an odd combination, the sketch pad even says its best for dry kinds of art. i'll see what kind of box we get in july before i decide to unsubscribe
@@malurus2 Yeah, that was very surprising for me as well. If you can afford it, i whould get 3-6 boxes, then decide. When i look back there are 2 i really disliked, quite a lot of watercolor versions but over all i don't completly regret the 1 1/2 years i get it now.
Ugh. Still awaiting mine. Maybe I can sell
