Taylor was held captive when she regained her memory and decided to come back home. I don't remember how she was able to come back home but she was held captive. Again earlier in 1993 Taylor told Ridge that he was free to go back to Brooke if he wanted too but she still wanted to be friends and guess who Ridge chose. Then during the Thomas incident she told Ridge that he could be with Brooke but he has to take care of his son. Those aren't selfish deeds now is it? As for Brooke she through herself at Ridge every chance she got during his marriages with Taylor and even said to Taylor that she was going to take Ridge away from her.
