Someone probably already said this, but when you have the fans all facing in the middle, you're creating a lot of turbulent air. It may help to have the fans at an angle in the direction you want the tornado to spin. Because then all the fans are working together to push the air in a circular direction instead of at each other all kittywampus. Tho, if you want it all self-contained like the glitter lamp, then you'd need to enclose it in like... a dome type shape, so that the glitter being blown upward will circle around to the bottom to get fed into the fans again.

Hey Brandon just letting you know to get sharpie off a whiteboard you use any whiteboard marker and then color over all of the sharpie marker erase it and then it should be gone you might need to wash the front of it though but it’ll definitely help. If there’s still a mark just cover over it with it again. P.S.I’ve done it before and I got in trouble in class but I showed my teacher that I knew how to get rid of it.
Can you not have them all in a circle facing at a 45° angle but also make a cylinder shield ( with holes along bottom for air circulation) around the fans? And possibly a lid so the glitter just doesn't fly straight out...?? As I don't think a floating tornado will work 🤷🏽♀️

I finally realized now that I could have helped give him some advice. If your trying to make a glitter tornado you have to have something sucking the air up through the center of the vortex. Just think about how a actual tornado in nature works.
I looked into it and instead of telling Brandon how to make a fire tornado I’ll assist him with what I’ve studied about tornadoes, Tornadoes form when warm, humid air collides with cold, dry air. The denser cold air is pushed over the warm air, usually producing thunderstorms. The warm air rises through the colder air, causing an updraft. The updraft will begin to rotate if winds vary sharply in speed or direction. Now to accomplish this in a small room and with the types of fans when usually it needs a large-scale, atmospheric wind-and-pressure system characterized by low pressure at its center and by circular wind motion, so we’ll have to improvise by having a spinning base fan to push the wind up but I’d suggest using a bigger and more slower fan to get the glitter up but not just throw it away and now for the spin, you will have to make a directional push with a spiral wind speed like if you ran around a Circular pool it will create a small current now if you add few more people that current gets stronger and can last longer so that’s what you need to do but with fan’s facing up next to the main upward force to make an upward spiralling draft now doing this alone will cause them to go every where so you will need an out and in force to keep them in so you need to add more fans in other areas or if you wanna try sum else then create a tall Barrier with a fan on top to stop the glitter from getting out hope this helps but I can’t assure it’ll work

Okay, I’m not too sure how you’re going to be able to do this, but you need cold air going down from the top of the tornado in a way that it’ll go down on one side and make hot air go up in the other, and on one side you need a “wind shear” (sudden change of wind speeds and direction) on the same side as the hot air and try to have heavy rainfall on the other side. You can probably do a lot of this with blow dryers and fans and make the heavy rainfall by pouring water on the top side of a horizontally positioned rag. Hope this helps.

Still a fully functional 6 ft clear tube multi fan setup on the base. With a mesh top perhaps, it would allow for the glitter to build up and give you a few moments of good glitter spinning footage.... look forward to the next chapter...

After thinking, I have come to a conclusion. Make a box(the height must be twice the size of the fans you use. The depth needs to be 3 1/2 of the said fans. I suggest to use the small fans.). Put four fans at each corner, each facing the fan to its left. Turn the fans on. Put glitter in the box, and Immediately put the lid on the box. This might take a few try’s. I hope this helps!!! Just a little tip, you can get permanent marker off of a whiteboard by drawing on top of permanent marker with dry erase marker and it will erase with the dry erase marker. 💁♀️
Brandon you should have a tube with vents entering at an angle, each fan should be pointing at a 45 degree tangent to the tube blowing into said vents. This will create a vortex inside the tube and potentially create a tornado style wind.. add glitter🎉🎉
The tube you first had with the 3 fans do that make sure it’s Secure so it won’t move and then make sure there is a top so all the glitter won’t fly out so start the fans and then start putting the glitter. Then make a little hole on top so you can still add glitter idk if that makes sense to you but it’s an idea

Brandon you should have a tube with vents entering at an angle, each fan should be pointing at a 45 degree tangent to the tube blowing into said vents. This will create a vortex inside the tube and potentially create a tornado style wind.. add glitter🎉🎉

The tube you first had with the 3 fans do that make sure it’s Secure so it won’t move and then make sure there is a top so all the glitter won’t fly out so start the fans and then start putting the glitter. Then make a little hole on top so you can still add glitter idk if that makes sense to you but it’s an idea
