- A flip through of my latest journal, Gramma's Keepsake Journal which I have chosen to name Francis after my grandmother. I love how this journal came together, I imagined items my grandmother would have wanted to save in her keepsake journal.
I also wanted to share that due to health reasons my husband and I need to move to a lower altitude. I am excited for the next chapter in our lives. I appreciate every single one of you and your continued support. I look forward to getting back to my passion, creating junk journals and connecting with all of you soon!

I have so loved watching you create your magical journals that brim with beautiful things. Though I don’t know you personally, I have grown accustomed to your voice and your hands and feel like you are a familiar friend. I pray that your move goes well and that you will love your new home as much as you have loved your old one. We will miss you while you are gone, but look forward to your return in the future. You'll certainly be in my thoughts as you move. We've been married almost 41 years and have moved around 40 times. So, my heart goes out to you! Moving is a huge task.
You'll be missed terribly, but, like others have said, we're not going anywhere. We'll be waiting for you right here.

Oh Pam...I know the area where you live and it is extremely beautiful. You know where i lived (big city) and moved to rural Nebraska. Really? I am a city girl. We too moved abruptly and i can tell you i haven't looked back. It may be the only spontaneous thing I've ever done. I say this because you will adjust to you new environment. Your personality and the love and grace you exude you'll be just fine. I can hardly wait to hear about everything once you're settled. You need not worry about us. We'll all be praying for you both and anxiously wait for your return. God bless you both sweetheart. Oh and i love your story telling on this exquisite journal. You make your granny proud. Love that Journal from Grandma's attic... beautiful as always...please take of yourself as well as your hubby....I understand you have to do what you have to do to be the best of health...my parents had to do the same when they moved to Florida...it was mainly because they couldnt deal with the cold weather anymore....looking forward seeing all your wonderful videos and lovely treasures you make❤ God speed

@@GlamJunkJournals Hopefully the Spring snow holds off, so you can move without that extra bit of "not so much fun" having to move experience! After rewatching this a second time, I had an epiphany, and want to make something similar to honor my grandmother, Mary Alice. She too also loved to travel, always going on some cruise or another, or coming to visit my mom. I have fond memories of those visits because we would always try and do something that we hadn't done before....CO we almost always would end up going to Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods because she loved it so much :). When she passed in 2011, I ended up taking all of her crochet and knitting supplies and yarns, so that would be fun to incorporate. She was an avid reader too, and I have a few books still that I can use the pages from for the base of the journal. She also loved roses, yellow ones to be exact. Now that I am back in CT where she spent the majority of her life, my aunt (one of her D-I-L) asked me after I moved out here in 2022 if I wanted her China, because none of my cousins wanted it. I said yes for more than one reason, but partially because I have a built in China cabinet in my dining room. It took me a while to unpack the box, but when I did, her set has yellow roses. Thank you again, as always, for the creative inspiration.
What a wonderful story and such treasured memories you have! I think of my grandmother a lot and wish that she lived a bit longer, then I would have been older and could have learned more of how she grew up. The snow doesn't look like it's going to cooperate - but there's nothing I can do about that. Yes, I would have taken the china... I have my mother's bone china from Sweden - it's just beautiful..
