      They actually don't use as much fuel as you would assume. Mainly it's an Engine practcully idling driving hydraulic pumps.

      The other machine burned about 24 gallons of fuel an hour, where the 944K burns around 9 gallons per hour while doing the same work.

    Drove the older version of the 994. Huge machine. We had the tight weave chains on the tires.

    I feel that the cab of these machines should be further elevated that you can see the extents of the machine. I mean there are cameras, but still

    fun fact.if the 994k engine were attached to a 50 megawatts alternator generator. and use the 994k engine on generator for bitcoin power supply. it could mine a bitcoin with the power of that engine.

      Did some looking around and I have some anticlimactic news for ya...
      It's a handle that you insert next to the ladder into the hydraulic service bay that is directly behind the cab

    Aaron I also follow you on LinkedIn and I really think you would excel at showing the next generation there are opportunities outside of just college. When I graduated highschool all they did our senior year was push college down our throats which for some works fine but there are plenty of people I know of who would have loved to see these things on a job site at that age or even the respect of being on the site I’m sure can spark something for them - even changing the path of one will work good.       The 992 also has the dickie seat, weird thing with some of the letournos tho is the handle the dickie seat op has is also the door handle, squeeze to hard door open time lol 😅

    Fuel capacity 910 gallons standard 1500 gallons (24 hour) attachment. = 62.5 gallons per hour.

      @@chrism4008 your best bet is looking up a heavy machinery school near you and get certified, then go apply for jobs as heavy machine operator. They might not start you off with something as big as this, but you'll get there eventually.
      Rome wasn't built in a day, but if they had some heavy machine operators, it very well could have been lol.

    It’s so amazing the size of these machines… absolutely mind blowing. It’s like an apartment building on wheels and can lift multiple apartment buildings of material… the machining of metal that goes into making one of these is incredible… All the gears and systems in this thing are just incredible. Truly one of mankind’s greatest achievements that allows us to have modern society… the day these trucks and machines seize to exist, unless replaced by bigger better trucks and machines, will be the day our society as we know it seizes to exist.

    Those things r objectively some of the coolest things we humans have ever made, it’s literally a small building on wheels😮Imagine converting a dead one of these into a home like people do with old planes and busses that would be so sick and u would never have power issues so long as u can keep up with the fuel bill (tho these r surprisingly efficient when not on the move so it wouldn’t be unthinkably high at least)

    That's what I need for the zombie apocalypse. I don't know why I haven't seen it in a movie yet. I've seen guys use small ones, but I've always thought that one guy with a heavy duty cherry picker type thing 20,000 rounds of 22LR couldn't wipe out 20,000 zombies.
