Nice comparison. Like them both🌽👌 Claas has the bigger engine and JD has several somewhat bigger dimensions like capacity. Strange the large given difference in per hour capacity. In what way this is confirmed, for which crop, corn, wheat, chickpeas, lentils, peas, ..? Hard to imagine that big of a difference.👍

I know that the claas lexion 770 harvested in the worldrekord over 100t per hour so i Think the 8900 is the biggest harvester all over the world and top this status
I Work for claas 8900 has been awarded gold on agritechnica 2020,we got it about 130 tonnes an hour in South sweden👍🏻
The Claas, Has a Hybrid threshing system. APS, with concave, cylinder with concave, 2 rotors with concave. Jet stream cleaning system. leveling shoe. And I'd like to see the psi foot print comparison and G/P/A ? or bu/P/G. JD pushing the 13.6L at 700 hp?
Since when was a claas 8900 only capable of 70tn hr an old 760 would probably do that these 8900 are capable of 130tn hr no worries
I’d have to say X9. It eliminates the need for an airdrill cause it throws enough crop out the back
John Deere for sure. Parts availability, service availability, long term support, you can count on Big John !!!! Plus in my opinion ( mine alone ) Big John has the better combine.

JD is a horrible company. They make everything only serviceable by a dealer and lock out the machine owners from fixing things themselves. They are even worse than Apple as an anti repair company.
I would prefer the Johnyyy because of the cab...^^ looks unreal comfortable :)

I've done 80+ ton an hour with 7600 class with much less than 1% grainloss, don't know where this 70t comes from that they are mentioning because thats pure bs. Class can also do 42km on road not 40. Also you mentioned rotor size but not threshing drum size, as Claas does most of its threshing in the drum not the rotor which is why it runs so efficient and doesn't need huge rotors. Also why is there no average fuel consumption listed? Most other header drivers eyes pop out when you tell them that you can do more than 1 day on a tank with claas.

Was gonna say I’ve also done close to 70t/h in my 7600 and my brother easily does between 70 and 80 in his 770. 8900 should easily be able to do over 100t id say

Class will always be the winner against Deere, Deere has improved they are now sort of building a decent combine 100 years into the development of self propelled combines, it sure took a LONG TIME for them to wake up. But this X9 Deere has a serious flaw, trying to pull 700 Horse from 13.6 litres of engine displacement is just STUPID. If they really wanted to provide a good competitive engine to the MAN engine that Claas and Ideal use, they could have easily used the 15 litre CUMMINS. It would have been an excellent engine choice. And burn FAR less fuel than any Deere power plant. Sad to say Deere’s only Real benefit is their Dealer support. Sad to have to buy an inferior product to get that benefit. And regardless of what the product is Farmers still flock to Deere, but certainly NOT because it’s the BEST Combine.

Gyári száraz adatok egy dolog. A legtöbb azon múlik, hogy a gépekben rejlő lehetőségeket a kezelő milyen magas szinten tudja kihozni. Rajta múlik, hogy az adott terményt milyen tisziszasággal, és mekkora veszteségek mellett képes betakarítani. Illetve milyen szervezett a szállítási kapacitás, hogy a holt idők minél jobban le legyenek szorítva. Láttam gyári John Deere kombájnos videót, ahol mindig úgy jött ki, hogy a John Deere a jobb. Igen,gyári csapattal random gazdaságba kivonultak, aztán ment az összehasonlítás. Így azért nem nehéz. Reálisabb lett volna mindegyik gépet egy független kezelővel tesztelni,és mindjárt objektívebb az eredmény. Saját tapasztalatunk más gazdaságokkal összehasonlítva,hogy sajnos a John Deere kombájnok azonos terményben mindig többet szórnak,mint pl egy Claas,vagy New Holland.

John Deere had an X9 combine testing east of Edmonton Alberta Canada on oct 21 2020 with heavy secrecy and security. This combine came from the usa with new features and sensors, a security team, and JD officials from usa and Canada to monitor the testing. But the secrecy surrounding this was very unusual (to me). The local JD dealer was told to contact farmers who had crops that were not combined yet. The dealer found 1 crop at least, 6 miles away. The machine was transported at night and the security team guarded the machine, and had security at all roads leading to the machine. The farmer agreed to sign a non disclosure agreement and to not take pictures or tell anyone about it. There was just an X9 designation, no model number. The staff at the dealership were told no pictures or video of it, or else.
horsch did non disclosure agreements for drill demos it's common they want an event for unveiling it if a smart ass send pics to the press it's spoiled.

Loving the comparisons, the only thing is that the X9 does have 2 rotors, don’t know about the other machines just think that is quite a bit feature. I definitely rate and love the X9 it’s insane.

Claas doesnt, he only wins on engine power and tank capacity, john deere is more efficient, but just has a little less capacity, he covers more acres per hour so he be better
Last time I check the CR 10.90 still hold the most wheat in a 8 hour day

we are running 2 Lexion 780TTs and had a fun demo with a X9 and a CR 9.90...the "Baby" NewHolland did circles around the great green goblin all day long with a cleaner sample and way less fuel...very close to the 780, but a bit less acres/hectares per hour
