    METRO MELBOURNE (under step 2)
    Australian Sailing is happy to announce that single handed sailing or with someone (maximum 5 household members) from your household bubble is now permissible as part of their 2 hours of exercise within an unpowered vessel. You must adhere to the following:
    - This is allowed in an OTB dinghy.
    - This is allowed in a yacht that does NOT have a motor. If your yacht has a motor you cannot use it for sailing exercise. This applies even if you do not turn your motor on.
    - The 2 hours includes travel to and from the activity
    - The 2 hours includes rigging and de-rigging
    - You must stay within your 5km radius
    - You must wear face masks while on land
    - You must keep 1.5 meters distance from others
    Boat yards - We are currently getting clarification on exactly what activities will be permissible under the safety inspections and maintenance criteria. As soon as we have this detail we will update the Victorian sailing community.

    • @YouFishTV
      @YouFishTV  Před 3 lety +1

      I think you will find that has been clarified and boat ramps are now open and powered vessels allowed as long as it’s under 2 hours and within 5km of home. Have a look at our Facebook page, there’s some up to date updates there.
