It is very enlightening to understand the "magoc" guidance i have been blessed with in my life.
Like my mother i am a strong Magha.
Born in the west , i was not aware of this. But very aware of having to live in a certain way and understand the signs given.
Oh- and my mother did feed the crows every day ! And defended their nest places with the. City when they tore down wooden terraces where they lived.
When mum died, the next day on two sides of her place under the window, was a big black feather stuck upright in the ground.
It made me cry.

Depending where you have the Magha , right? I have four planets in 11 th . I always consider our ancestors our angels that protect us. ..like when I was four I lost my beloved Grandpa’ . He was a Scorpio and I am a Scorpio navamsa ascendant with Ketu- in my dreams I always remember him when he was inspecting the lake and forestal area where he was working - the two of us with the boat on the lake , him telling me stories about nature and me smiling and watching the Sun reflecting on the lake:) my first son has a derived name from his and he is also a scorpio ascendant. Very true Dr Pai ji I put my private sanctuary room in southwest due to rahu and ancestor abode and blessings have come , also true northeast abode to ketu ! Having these areas used in a spiritual way helps greatly . Especially for we magha birthstar folks

Dr. Kanholy Santhip Krishnan namaskar sir, you are most welcome and thank you for sharing wonderful info and research , I have also found the north direction works well, for placing Lord Ganesha in general and as representative of ketu as north direction is abode of lord Shiva and we must always include Lord Ganesha here to allow strong connection to Lord Shiva . most people fear southwest ( Naga corner) as they misunderstand that this is primary portal location to connect to ancestors . stay blessed always , and continued success with your wonderful research !

thanks for sharing ur knowledge wrt magha nakshatra.. the main part in the theme is ancestral worship or appeasement to gain improvement in life ..in order to do that we have to shradha / giving tarpana .. but in our Hindu custom it's customary duty of the male to do that .. evn though the soul has no gender but such karmas need to be carried out by the male progeny .. my question is if the native is a female ( magha) how can she worship / appease or pay her homage to the pitris ..
Do it. We are all females and our purohit advised us to do it even though several males are around but they do not do it so we do it. Never feel blocked to do your dharma because you are a woman

My Name is Pranab. Meaning of my name is Onkar as mentioned in Indian dictionary. So I visited Onkareshwar on 4th Feb, 2017[Date in mumerology comes to Rahu]. Again rahu is passing through the Magha nakshtra had taken me there.Saturn(GK) is in second pada of Magha Nakshatra in my natal chart.

Can it be that One offers 'ethereal' nob material offerings to ancestors via prayer, mantras, thoughts? Just a thought...
Offering Ethereal materials such as prayers is most common. However the results are again in ethereal in nature. Many of us aren't that tuned enough to access the etherial results and convert that into physical reality. If you offer the elements to the ancestors, the results are in the realm of the elements, or the real world. Also, ancestors are only to be honored, respected and made offerings for. Never are we to worship the ancestors as gods. We are only supposed to honor the ancestors and worship the gods ideally.

Yes. New moon means amavasya. Some classics have also recommended to make offerings to the pitris during full moon as well.

Only if one is spiritually progressed . It would be tough to take karma out and make your father process . Your father needs to have a guru or start the spiritual process so karma will start unfolding and the whole family progress together forward .
Dr. Pai your information is in general vert insightful but some times it feels like its not relevant to the topic in some places. Secondly remedies referred in your research are not easy to follow or perform by people in western world. All of it is focused and based on indian culture and way of doing rituals. What if our country has no crows no astray dogs no cows in the city etc.etc.
When you are reaching international audience you seem to ignore impact on them relating to your research. This is not criticism its mere humble suggestion to improve contents of research and relevant to the topic rather than too lengthy playing the roles of priests. Regards. Nina
Nina ji.. One simple suggestion is to capture the spirit of the remedies, instead of following the actual remedies to the point. So you can replace crow, which is indicated by Saturn, by other things indicated by Saturn such as servants, older people, staff, destitute folks, Janitors etc. And that actually helps a lot more too. The point of some of the remedies is to modify the lifestyle as well. So sometimes that can be hard, especially if one isn't willing to look at the bigger picture the impact of the current lifestyle they are in. However, eventually its worth it. Good suggestion, will keep the international audience in mind in the future.
