For those of you who need to remember the equations DONT write down ‘amount’ or ‘quantity’. I did that in one of my tests and it got marked wrong even though that’s what it said in the textbook which I thought was very unfair!. It said instead you had to put ‘mass’ on the mark scheme and I don’t know if this is just for AQA exam board but thought this might help people so they don’t make the same mistake as me, these videos are very informative so keep up the good work 😊

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought A* was an 8 and A** is a 9 I’m in year 9 at the moment so it might of changed

@@TR33Zzz It is, sort of. The English GCSE system is slightly different than the Northern Ireland GCSE system.
In NI, we don’t use the 9-1 grading system, we still use A*-U. I got an A* in our system - the highest grade we can be given, as we don’t have A**. To avoid confusion, I gave both, but they’re roughly equivalent :)

in chemical equilibrium we say rate of forward reaction is equal rate of backward reaction.
what do we mean by that if there were just one reactant and one product then it is eay to to understand. are the rate in equilibrium and kinetics the same. what if there is more than one reactant or product then how doe define rate forward rxn or for that matter rate of backward rxn. is this doubt non sensical
