The KNUST teaching hospital has been restarted. Contractor is back on site
Oh ok that’s great!!!!
That's true. However, it took the intervention of Otumfour before construction was resumed.
Wow
That’s great they have restarted the teaching hospital 🙏🏾it’s such a sad thing so much unfinished projects
Just the point I was making. The reporter ought to speak to the authorities for responses before coming to press.
Great problem in Africa.. one government starts a project with tax payers money, another government comes and ignore project..so we keep staying stagnant because people can't go past their political affiliations
Truth, we’ll Spoken but it’s much Deeper than that.
Sigh
Preach on my gee GHANA to the world 🇬🇭
Also abandoned is Boankra inland port, Boankra-Ashanti region, Bank of Ghana new office tower, Tamale airport area, Tamale-Northern region, Krofrom market, Krofrom Kumasi-Ashanti region.
It’s sad to see this many abandoned projects
Thanks for this
You making us to know about what is happening in our country Ghana
I appreciate this🙏🏾❤️
I salute you bro,
Congratulations, keep up the good work
💯thanks champ
Keep up with the good work bto👍🔥💙
Thanks Naya❤️
Amazed... My Daddy loved everybit of your videos ♥️♥️♥️ keep it up dear
Oh wow thanks I really appreciate that 🥺 means a lot to me
My two cents as an American who has never been to Ghana (yet!), but who is rooting for Ghana to succeed. The Saglemi Housing Project would be ripe for a transit-oriented development setup! A Google search tells me that Prampram is only 27 miles east of the capital city of Accra. Put in a light rail connection and target the area for light industry development (people will go where the jobs are), and that area would turn into a BOOMTOWN suburb. I'd also add some micro-apartments (studios) for upstart but currently cash-strapped young professionals.....
Thanks for sharing... So sad!
Exactly we have to know these things and make informed decisions ❤️💯
Some Christians may call it failure at the edge of breakthrough or the spirit of delay. I pray they get completed. 🙏
Thanks for sharing my friend...maybe the government should focus on smaller less expensive projects, that has an immediate impact on the people?
Exactly! They overplay their hand and leave us hanging
PLEASE LET US KNOW THE REASON WHY IT HAS BEEN ABOUNDED AND WHO STARTED IT. GOOD JOB 👍
You just want the one who started, so that you can start the politics
Ohh God please help us to see what we are throwing away, our country needs more than ever. the way things are going we can't even imagine what's next for us... All this money that has been thrown into major projects becomes a waste to us.....
God have mercy on Ghana, these abandoned projects demand investigations as why it was halted. If due to corruption those involved should held accountable.
Future generations demand this from our leaders, so sad
We just want them to be completed 🤦🏾♂️
I’d love to learn more about what factors cause projects to first be decided upon, and then yet abandoned
They don't like paying their Taxes. They want good infrastructure but don't want to be taxed. They want the government to borrow money at high interest rates then later criticize them.
Politics....simple. to excite the people to vote
Its all about politics. Politics
Ghana is a developing country so needs lots of developments but when there’s a change in government projects initiated and stay previous governments are left to rot both parties engaged is this bad and neglectful behavior but this current NPP government have put in overdrive they’ve acted with impunity
How can you spend 200 million dollars 🥺🥺on a project and abandon it from operating 🌚Eiii I must confess Ghana is not poor all we need is visionary leaders thats all
Exactly that’s a sad truth
Hmmmm this is so sad why our leaders i ask whyyyyy
The problem is corruption and overspending so it makes it difficult for the next government to finish something that they don’t have money for. This why we need people from the private sector to come together and help build some of these building. For the stadium it would cost about 5 million to build so what we do is fundraising and also fundraising to complete the school
Facts💯
fundraising from who.....when the are killing the the ordinary Ghanaian with taxes n high prices of commodities..abeg no money to fund the raise.
@@aburiyatheophilus7922 their is high prices and taxes in the US but we still have money to fix roads and complete projects. The whole problem is people is too dependent on government
Hmmmmm...what pains e most is the housing project
For real it’s completed oo hmmm but case🤦🏾♂️
@@AndysInsights I'm just crying for those who put in hard work for this
Sad!! Sad!! Sad!! 😢
Bros, Hush, Hush is the Word coming From a Stagnant Leader, who is Quite Worldly, Knowledgeable and Eloquent, whenever it Comes to African/International and World Affairs.
Bros, Honestly, it Really looks like, Both the Juju Man and the Colonists Powers are Camped Out Somewhere in Ghana, still in this Day.
This Video is Very Hard to Watch, knowing the Plight and Struggles of Our Ghanaian Brothers and Sisters.
Definitely, Ghana has a whole Lot of Sins to Bear, just as that Huge Slave Castle, that Point of No Return, still Is Standing, as a Reminder of Ghana’s Role in Aiding and Abetting the Fulfillment of the Slave Trade by the Europeans.
These Abandoned Buildings, are a Curse upon the Land in which they all Sit.
So, so Sad, Bros, all we can Do is Watch such Tragic Events.
One abandoned project after the other.
It just a shame why l really don't like politicians. Is time the people of Ghana rise up against this politicians, shame all political parties and held them accountable as well as heads of all civil servants and those involve in this abundance project trial and jail.
THANKS TO OSAGYEFO DR. KWAME NKRUMAH AND HIS VISIONARY INSIGHTS, GHANA WOULD HAVE BEEN NAKED, DUE
TO THE POLITICS OF TODAY WHERE THE POLITICAL PARTY AND ITS AFFILIATION IS PUT ABOVE THE NATIONAL INTERESTS.
It's just Sad 😥 . All These PROJECTS are for the Betterment of Our Dear NATION. Citizens Should get the COURAGE to Ask Questions about such Abundant PROJECTS because its a WASTE of TAX PAYERS MONEY 💰.. WASTE
Total waste, we have to start asking serious questions cos these monies millions of dollars are being thrown away whilst the people suffer so unfair
Good ❤️❤️❤️❤️
🖤😌
I'm sad to watch this video.....
when will our politicians be up and doing in our beloved country?
My brothers and sisters
All NDC
Uncompleted projects must be reported to Government for attention
Given reasons why the projects around Ghana was not completed
Media Must bring these to light n
We don’t even want the political tags they should just complete them so we can benefit in it’s prosperity
Very sad, and shameful
What is wrong with Ghana 🇬🇭people 🤷♀️🙆♀️😢😢🙄
Ghana is not poor. We are just lacking visionary leaders 🥱
How do find out information about the housing project?
You can check news articles about it online, videos of several people visiting the vicinity are also available online. if you are in Ghana you could visit the place at prampram
The problem once u give other companies than Chinese most of projects it's fails Chinese build fast
It’s just hard that the government has feasibility studies before each project but don’t foresee these
Ibrahim, my suggestion is that we the citizens must do serious demonstrations against the government, especially where these projects are located.
I agree with you, i stay close to the Afari hospital, Imagine the people of Afari blocking the whole road for like two to three days with massive demonstration. The results will be positive, but the problem is, the people who are going to start this are the same people who stands by the president, meanwhile it does not belong to the president. it's sad nobody cares
God is watching
Hmmmm. U didn’t get all mpo. Soo sad. Evel
Saglemi de33, we just have to back our bags and move in kroa without asking anybody
We made it bro
Lol 😁
This cannot be happening in Ghana. Most of this project have good private sector investment return promisery atmosphere, when you put into consideration the sound foundation motto of Ghana as given by Kwame Nkrumah and further consolidated by Jerry Rawlings.
What on earth is in the head of the leaders of Ghana?
Nothing!!!
Why are our politicians this wicked and the sad thing is they always go to church and quote the bible. Hmmmm
I'm saddened what is happening 😳?
💯🤦🏾♂️
It’s not worth talking about it but put people in jail will be useful
If Africa completed 90 percent of the projects started since independence and continually maintained at 100 percent functional operations , then continental Africa would be at a totally different superior level of development.
Oh why people have to demonstrate
The structures ll be completed definitely... its the usd casing it
Hoping you are right, Really looking forward to their completion👌🏾
Usd casing what ?
It's soooooooo infuriating
Totally!!!!!
😭😭😭🇬🇭
Please I suggest you do a documentary on the Aburi Kitase Berekuso Highway Construction Project which has been budgeted at over $39 Million USD and grants funding provided by the Government of Qatar 🇶🇦. This Highway connects to the Pokase Interchange. Very sensitive and security measure Highway due to the rockfalls of Aburi and GoG Peduase Lodge.
I think this is interesting would be doing this next thanks 🙏🏾 so stick to this channel for more content
This is what we need to do serious demonstrations, especially where these projects are located, against the government.
That’s the sad thing, most people don’t seem to care if they aren’t directly affected 🥲. Hopefully this would change as these kinds of projects come to light
SOCIAL WORK
Why was it abandoned 😔 by who? Can't they sell it 🤔,
The situation is something that should be looked at
You can privatised
Somehow I understand that no incoming government makes a manifesto to continue another government’s project especially if the money they budgeted for is finished without finishing the project the themselves started. If that is the case any incoming government should auction the project for private entrepreneurs to buy and complete and if possible change the project to suit that private entrepreneur so that all new governments occupying the seat will learn sense especially if they used the project for votes. This saglemy and affordable housing from Kuffour’s time should not be sitting idle. Not even hospital. Some are certainly going to rot like Acheampong projects.
Wow this is a really good take, if they were to auction such projects it would definitely solve numerous problems we have
Africa will never succeed under POLITICS anytime if we don’t do away with politics we will loose the whole African continent as we’ve already lost ourselves.
Unbelievable why ?
HOTEL 🏬 HOTEL 🌴
What kind of madness is this so in two years time they will vote these clowns in again how can money be just throw away like this 😅😅 it seems that the ordinary Ghanaians wants more beatings for these parties just give them eastern promise let us watch these two clowns come the next two years I bet they have not learned from the last 8years

The current president Nana Addo Danquah is looking for funds to build a cathedral instead, in fact a massive one indeed. One that is going to be a world record breaker. A country with churches in every nook and cranny, as well as the most pastors. Any other project is unnecessary for now since the battle is spiritual, first things first.........others later. :-)
Ikr check my video on the most controversial project in Ghana to see if you agree with their explanation
This has to be sarcastic
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🌶🌶🌶

How did u expect a village like ghana to get the money from . Ghana don't ve money plsssss
Ghana has Oil!!! Isn't that money? Lots of it. However it is not reflecting in the country.
@@kemigishanebra7988 go n relax .oil that can't even carry a community 😆 🤣 😂
Please Ghana is nowhere near a village, we are a developing nations with flaws like any developing country has, we just need to work past them
GUEST house 🏡💶🎇🏠🏬🎄💶📱👾👾👾📱🎇😃😳🌻
Heads should roll, people ought to lose their jobs!!!!!
Eei eei relax😅. No heads should roll we begew but it’s high time we found a way to make them complete it
Guys is time to get rid of the NPP and NDC gurus they are destroying Ghana
Why include private projects and say Ghana has abandoned them?
Please sorry for the confusion, the title is abandoned projects in Ghana and not abandoned projects by the government 🙏🏾
Why not?
What’s the cause of this
Political turmoils 🤦🏾♂️
Ghanaians are very ungreateful to Nana Addo because when hon. Kwabena Mintah Akando and some of the minority started beating drums that Nana is not continueing with projects started fmr. Mahama no one thought of the projects of former presidents Kuffour, Gen. Acheampong and others which was abandoned by the NDC .It's very painful when you intentionally plan to do very dirty politics in this country. It's not nice to disgrace our leaders for ghc20,ghc30, ghc10 even some do that a box of maches. Are we not ashamed of such behaviers?
Afari hospital is not abandoned
Calculate how long it has been left there, did you see the equipments just lying bare.We just want to see all initiatives finished as promised
Wastrels
Can you do yourself a favor as a patriotic citizen , take pictures of these projects, write a letter and mail it to Akuffo Addo? Write on the letter personal and adress to him. He will take action. Dont just show us
Truth be told an individual plea would yield next to nothing, the voices of the masses show the whole arm of government responsible, that we are all in agreement these projects should be prioritized and completed. I hope you get why sharing it with the masses first is be best option in my view
@@AndysInsights just take pen and a paper. Write a sorrowful letter to him and add pictures. Mail it priority. That's all. He will take action
@@Onechalk There is no harm in trying it out, advise well noted 👌🏾
Let's be honest it's not really tax payers money that's been used because the amount of tax collected by the government is not alot since its not automatically taken from everyone's earnings as most ppl are informal workers and are paid in cash or momo. import tax yes definitely an issue. That's why the e-levy is there. Ghanaians have learnt that phrase without knowing how much tax ppl are debited in more industrialised countries. The money for these projects is coming from international LOANS! that's why Ghanas debt to GDP ratio is so high.
No listen we all understand and know that most of the funds are from international loans, if you watch all my videos about projects I talk about funding and where exactly they come from but the little they(general term) gain from us or borrow shouldn’t be rushed into a project and abandoned. That’s a waste of the funds, don’t you agree? Cos imagine we pay for the maximum tax, if a loan can be misused this way how much more our very own funds where no interest rate is pressuring us to use it judiciously
@@AndysInsights I'm not disagreeing with you but I find Ghanaians talk about their taxes more than other Africans who are in similar situations. When we concentrate on the misuse of funds without the mentality of "my taxes" then I think we move away from the general moaning and complaining to more action oriented solutions. For me I think people should just collect their things and go and live in the apartments. The government will get scared when they see people taking initiative
my friend if u claim its not tax payer money...then where is our money because every Ghanaian pay tax double either direct or indirect 😮
@@AndysInsights who told you Ghanaians dont pay taxes? Every Citizen pays taxes. People who drink beer, akpeteshie pay taxes because akpeteshie sellers pays waybill( that's a form of tax) and the sellers then pass on the taxes to consumers same a Beer, used clothes sellers, cigarettes smokers, spare parts dealers, used car sellers, even civil servants and market women all pays some forms of taxes. The problem in Africa is politicians sees taxes collected as free money and they steals them and dont make accountable for that that's why it looks like Africans don't like to pay taxes because the masses dont see anything or benefits from the tax money collected
@@kofiarthur3749 True I know we pay tax all the time but I was arguing the point with him that if we are not even paying the maximum tax they still misuse and that needs to stop
You have been some good job, but I disagree with your mode of this presentation. You do not need to be sensational. That is not journalistic. Tell us why the authorities have left the projects to be in this state. Interview them for their responses Other than that, if you want us to go with you that they have been abandoned, it will be subjective. That is not journalism. The Ho Youth Resource Centre for instance, that hosted the 66th Independence anniversary last year may have some reasons to give, if truly that is the current state of the facility as you showed. So please seek official responses to give us objective presentation. Keep up with the good work.
