I might not be the best shooter, but when i bought my tikka i found the load for my rifle with both hunting and lh ammo and then ordered 10 000 rounds of the same bullet and powder. Sold 4 of my other rifles and afther 2,5 years withe the same combo am in the same "alexa" boat. Hunting anything is dead within 400 yards distance and steel targets out to 800m is absolutley within reach. Only shot 3k rounds so far, but quite happy with the 175 gr scenar.

Ek kon nie glo dat ek so vrot kan skiet nie. Ons het besluit om iets te gan eet, en daarna het ek gou ñ teiken opgesit om te kyk of my geweer ingestel is,en dit was. Ek skiet nie gewoonlik vrot nie. Na ete het ons weer uitgegaan, twee skote en twee blesbokke het gelê. Al wat ek kan dink is dat die mirage my ge-afekteer het. Ek het nie ondervinding met mirages nie. I've been in a similar situation, where I shot at a warthog from about 50m and missed... twice, then went to the range on the farm, got my confidence back, and shot one from 27m after an incredible stalk
:) a proper gun nut you are :) I am a farmer from Ireland have a normal over under shotgun for tasks on the farm, but its so good to see others that use a gun as a tool. Never get to hunt, well plenty of fishing. get alot of venison at the local country estate :) There's alot of fools out there think they for show and threat... people would do well to watch your video just to learn a different mentality to guns, which is what they are a tool to be used. not jealous at all.... well not much lol:)
Hey mate.... Been where you are in this video multiple times. If you don't have a field target (paper) instead of using a rock that disintegrates on impact use a tree knot.... The tree is so hard you can see your exact impact. Just a tip mate. Love the content.
N goeie idee vir papier teikens om saam te vat is papier borde met ronde stickers geplak in die middel. Dis goedkoop en baie stewiger as gewone papier. Dit skeer nie so maklik nie en hanteer ook baie makliker in die wind as gewone papier.
Ek wil ook net iets byvoeg, gebruik verskillende posisies om na die borde te skiet, dit help nie jy gaan sit daar met jou bipod nie. POI gaan verskil. Net n wenk. - Ek praat van jag
I agree that you should always check zero on your rifle at the destination before going out on the hunt. As you say, it is an expensive pastime, and missing due to an inaccurate rifle is just unnecessary . Take that extra 45 minutes. It is well worth it. 👍🏻

The fact that you are so willing to accommodate to situations like this shows what a “banger” person/business owner you are.

Dit is erg maar snaaks vir my want dit het my gebeur. Ek het na die die jag my geweer weer gezero toe is my geweer 100% zero. Lol. Toe se my pel. So jy het net kak geskiet. Lol. Wel ek het die geweer 2 weeke gekry voor ons gaan jag het. Maar ek ken nou my tikka en hy loop soos stroop.

Get a Nightforce. Won't lose zero if you bump it like you would a Vortex.
