Only grizzlies jersey I ever owned is a Z-Bo jersey.. was in Denver once for work and wore it to the grizzlies nuggets game. Grizz won, I was 20 rows back from the visitors bench, and I yelled ZBO! And he turned around and pointed up to me. Good memories of this team
Mannn that’s awesome bro bro
I remember ZBO pulled up in the hood in a car worth more than our house..and he talked and hung out like he was in a Honda😄 This dude is Special and he is without a doubt a Memphian for Life!
had the fire piff when he came by too....ZBO is real deal
That’s the G in him.
Tony Allan is real G also, grew up in the same hood, him and J Howard .
He was comfy made some trap moves out here too
It's a blessing to have people who are down to earth, that don't let money change them, and stay ground on the moral code and principles you was raised off of.
Had a grown a** man crying in his beard dawg. I felt this. This was way deeper than basketball, this was about love and the human spirit
We all need more love
Nobody in ZBO's era got 20 & 10 as effortless has he did.
The greatest player the Grizzlies franchise has ever had!!!!!! I stand 10 toes down on that!
Marc Gasol all day!
I agree with you
Ja will be
Tie with him and Gasol
@@dannyttt2050 only Pau can compare
Man I remember One Night I was Working At IHOP in Sacramento Ca , & Zbo walks in , I ask Him I was Like “ you Zach Randolph ‘’ he was like yeah , but it look like he didn’t think I knew who he was , So He instantly was Like You wanna Pic took a Pic Ihop Was Packed that night he was Like “ See if they Can Make My food Early ‘’ so I ask the cooks they said “Yeah “ so He Gave Me 40$ as a Bus Boy , &. Gave the Lady Like 80$ & the Men Cook 60$ & mind you People Never Tip the Cooks , the Look on the Cooks Face was Priceless made there whole night & felt appreciated for all the Food they cook 👨🍳, So I’m Glad I met a Real Legend on and Off the Court , Respect ✊🏽 Z-bo Your a Real one 💯💯
Hell yeah dooud thanks foe sharin. Hes a real one
That's what's up..
Zach Randolph was NO JOKE!!! Mama...There goes that man!!!
I'm a Warriors fan, Zbo provided us plenty of nightmares on the court. But Zbo is a hall of fame person. He's a much better human being than actual ball player. Just class personified. I tip my hat.
He's also have a good relationship with draymond green too specially they're both came from michigan state.
Eddie Winslow’s long lost brother lol.. Z-BO is still one of my all time favorite players.. great hands, skilled and tough
The world needs more people like “Z”Bo…Dude was helping people b4 he even made it big! Truly the real deal…
I'm still hurt that he didn't get a ring. But, in that moment, that was his 🏆
This had me in real tears, cause I felt the real love between Z and the Community... They definitely got it out the Mud!!!!!
True definition of giving someone their flowers while they can smell them. Much respect to a stand up man like ZBO 💯
I didn't realize how close zach was with the city of Memphis. Him getting in trouble here in Indiana put a shadow over him even though he has the biggest heart I'm happy the city of Memphis has embraced him. It was paid back in full and then some
Oh trust and believe, Z had some off the court issues here in Memphis. But because EVERYONE in the city embraced him (and I mean EVERYONE) they never allowed those issues to get swept under the rug. He and Tony Allen were connected here deeply.
Change the culture of an entire franchise and became the face of Memphis shoutout Big 50/ZBO love bruh 🐻💯
I got so much respect for the legend Zach Randolph he a real street dude that made it out the hood and ain’t change for no one took all his Homies out the hood changed alot of peoples life’s and the hood will always respect Zach…..
I'm not crying, you're crying!
Man, this docu had me crying. I needed that.
Zach Randolph one of my favorite NBA players of all time! One of a kind player! We need more of his play in today's NBA!
Quentin Richardson for Zach Randolph changed the culture for the franchise and the city.........Best move in Chris Wallace career 👏 🙌
Zach Randolph a guy you wouldn’t wanna play against but such an awesome dude. I remember when he told Cousins „in my hood bullies get bullied“ after cousins did sum stupid. Z-Bo a legend on and off the court.
I remember this, did cousins not say "in my hood bullies get bullied" and then ZBO said "in my hood bullies get bullets" haha. I could be wrong but what a great back and forward that was : )

@@youngcloudz6648 Apologies of the mis information guys haha there's enough of that everywhere already 😅
The story of those who rarely appear on the first page. People's man! Uplifting. Huge respect.
He indeed had a bad rep coming in, but he turned his career around and became a true icon of what that era of Memphis basketball was all about. Plus he did his most important and impactful work off the court, helping out the communities that needed it most, which is something you don't see often from a franchise player.
One of the true power forwards who could’ve played in any era a bully ball player
Memphis Icon -- Right up there with Elvis and B.B. King.
I love people like zbo, they do the right thing and help their communities. They don’t just hide in the mansion and sit down and count money all day. He’s a good man!
Zach is the most real NBA cat Ive ever seen when it comes to his people Bless him
WHOOP THAT TRICK! Thank you Zbo for everything you did for the Grizzlies franchise and for the city and people of Memphis. I'd give you the shirt off my back man. Love and respect to you!
I can't stand chris herrington, never have and never will. Dude is a local troll reporter who has no perspective to be reminiscing about the old grizzlies. Just let him be a troll.
@@14u2ponder thank you! He’s a real horrible person in real life too.
@@hankrussell5756 Garbage
His Postmoves and movement are unique. Every young player should have this in his arsenal.
This took me back to all those magical playoff moments I was fortunate enough to be apart of during the GNG era. It was truly a special time in Memphis. Thank you for the memories Z-Bo! You are one of us, a Memphian, for ever!
I played with his brother Roger Randolph back in the late 90’s… Dude was a legit monster on the court as well💯 #RipRoger🙏🏾
Was his brother NBA material too???
So the whole family was fire!
Roger was prolly better and more athletic than Zach. He just got into some trouble in a lil town in Indiana called Anderson. (Where he is a legend) And never got to reach his full basketball potential. #LLRR
Some of the best times of my life were taking my family down to Memphis to watch this team. Thanks Z-Bo for everything!
This story is has made me emotional. I am a Knicks fan and didn't understand why they let him go. He was a very underrated player. Now I see what a great person he is.
Knicks were scarred by Eddy Curry 🤷🏿♂️😭 Zach really had to prove himself and he did.
Curry was a sad story. He was starting to figure things out in NY, playing with the enlarged heart and all. Then his ex-wife and child got murdered in Chicago and he vanished. A lot of people don't know that.
I feel like we don’t get enough credit for how we used to be able to stop and give Steph and the warriors a hard time everytime they played us
We still do
@@vtheminer3570 nah fr🤣🤣
I expected this to make me cheer-I didn't expect it to make me cry several times!!
The love for him in Memphis is so well-deserved.
Thought I knew his story, but watching this, I learned a lot and my respect went through the roof for him. #salute #50ForDaCity
Big hommie u real live that dude! Knew BRB this doc but this doc solidified u. 100 from da city.!
Don’t know why, but Zack was almost always my starting C in my 2k builds, loved the guy.
Damn... I was expecting just a basketball doc.. this shit damn near made m cry💯
This makes me miss 2008 through 12. I miss him in uniform.
I didn't know him that much but from this documentary, Ii felt him. God bless anybody that comes from the bottom, made it to the top and still remember to bring others up from the bottom. God bless you Zach 👍👍❤️
I’m a Bulls fan but ZBO is one of my favorite players ever. The Grizzlies playoff runs and those games at the grind house was some of the most entertaining ball you will ever see.
Man me too. I feel Chicago during D-Rose days needed a player like Z-Bo to get Bulls over that hump to make finals.. We needed another scorer and bully
zbo is the quintessential grit and grind player. He was the perfect fit for the grizzlies. This grizzly team just needed one more efficient scorer to complete the team.
Five minutes in and I'm already lovin' it.... Z-Bo and Tony Allen gave the city of Memphis it's identity connecting the city and the Grizzly organization. Grit & Grind....
One of my fav players of all time. Kind of player that you hate if you play against him but you love it if he plays in your team. I,ve never been a Grizzlies fan but that team played great and I am a Spaniard so…
But Marc and Pau Gasol played for Memphis, you was most definitely a fan lol
The city Love Z Bo fr fr
I hope Jaren Jackson Jr. can help represent MSU in Memphis like Z-bo did and bring that city a championship playoff run🙏. That line-up when healthy is fully stacked!
A Memphis classic.. we need one for Marc, Conley, N TA now
What about Rudy Gay
@@iMr.Jetpacks him top n lowkey mayo too
Allen with that D
No they don't Zbo was the man
Now that I look back, Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo were damn good players for our team... but Idk bout retiring their jerseys tho
Imagine if we had a draft staff like today, we would have a ring already. Imagine MC, Zbo, Gasol and some of the top guys in the 2009 draft.
We were one good SF away from winning the chip
Thabet is the top 10 bad pick of all time and the Mayo thing didnt play out

Z-Bo had successful career, never backed down from anyone, he always came to do work against any team!!👊🏽💪🏾💯
Man I miss this man!!! Before Zbo came to Memphis I would have told you that MJ was my favorite player of all time..there are many of us who have never met him in person but feel like he is family and we deeply love and respect him
I thought of him as a tough guy and to not mess with him but also he had big time game.
But this shows what kind of heart he had.
Money/fame doesn’t change you it reveals who you are.
We love you here in Memphis Zach!! I personally love your heart!! You are a great person and Im soo glad that the Grizzlies picked you! You and Memphis go together like a hand and glove... We just fit perfectly!!
So many memories, thank you Z-Bo 🐻
This was absolutely amazing I really appreciate Memphis showing love ❤️ to Z Bo a lot of organizations need to take notes 📝

Great illustration of how people like Zach deal with discrimination.. pay attention to the journalist questions!!
Man z Bo in the first round of the playoffs he dominated on the spurs and they were a higher seed. Spurs are my team forever but Memphis leading with zbo I gave nothing but respect.
Zbo was my fantasy draft sleeper every year. I owe one season win solely to him
I’m a Hornets fan, but Zach, was my favorite player to watch. I loved seeing him playing against the Clippers, giving Blake that work
I want to commend the Grizzlies production staff. Thank you so much for releasing this. It will be remembered as one of NBA's best underdog stories. #GRIZZNATION
Z BO AND TONY ALLEN WAS THE HEART OF MEMPHIS !
ZBOOOOOOOO. 50😍😍
As a NY Knicks fan shout out to Zbo. A real one did his thing in NY mr. 20 N 10.
Grit and Grind baby!!
I'm a spurs fan but grit n grind was something to behold
Ahhh back when they had Mike Conley Tony Allen Rudy Gay Zach Randolph Oj mayo Mark Gasol that team was destined to win a championship
I’m glad someone like Z-Bo got a documentary like this
We Love ZBo in Memphis!!!! Always Will!!! He's Goated to us!!! 🔥🏀〽️🐻💯

That’s how you know Memphis a sorry ahh franchise when y’all get wet for Zach Randolph 🤣🤡💀🤦♂️
Zbo, thank you, for everything you’ve done for this city and everyone in it. You’re a perfect example for how to embrace this city and how the city will forever and always embrace you back. Can’t wait to see your jersey hang in the rafters, where it deserves to be. All love 💙
I will watch it several times
we love you Zach such a good man very inspirational person. from the philippines we love you❤️
Brilliant Piece! That stab fadeaway was butter 🧈 & even tho Zach was small he was strong & highly skilled. He might not get in the HOF but he's knocking on the door! Salute ZBo
Yea he is borderline HOF.. I if that team at least made Finals once and even if lost, he definitely in there cause he was a big reason Memphis got there. THAT west was stacked so many years
@@Bigedub101 Definitely borderline but if Grant Hill can get in ZBo Definitely in
@@dezcaughtit316 I forgot Grant Hill was in there then Z-Bo definitely one then. He usually be forgotten cause not as loud and/or flashy like other PFs like KG,Malone,Dirk etc
@@Bigedub101 Hell yea bro Grant Hill going in was tragic ik what he was but injuries robbed him. NBA is real weird with they HOF! I hope Tim Hardaway finally gets in this year
Fantastic player, I'll always remember the great battles he had with Blake Griffin and Boogie.
Troydaddy
Memphis was my team during this era, I never really ever had a team, I rooted for players and I loved Randolph and Conley. Shit I was a huge fan of OJ Mayo for some reason too but I would find myself cheering for the Grizzlies everytime they'd be on, I remember when they upset the Spurs. The memories man!
As a Spurs fan I used to hate playing against ZB)O, but I rooted for him every time we weren't playing ya'll. This just makes me love him even more not as a player but because of his character.
Respect to Z-Bo from Tampa Bay! A real one.
This was awesome. Had chills for about 90% of it
That's weird it's just a little doc u don't even know this man...u should get that checked out maybe...
Blazer fan from the 80s. Zach probably needed a little growing up back then but that town didn't deserve a MAN like Zach. Was crying the whole video. Seeing his mom in the stands looking like the happiest person on Earth was beautiful to see.
Really is..I'm a Bulls fan and after 90s dynasty...I still say to this day I always felt as a Bulls fan we never had that player in mid 2000s to early 2010s that could get us over hump and a Z-Bo like player would definitely been close to maybe a finals shot in 2010s before Derrick Rose kept getting injured
That brought back alot if Memphis. Well deserved!!
I was so mad when the knicks let him go , for sure one of my favorites of the 2010s
I had the pleasure of meeting Zach when I lived in Memphis. A great spirit!
Zbo is the true definition of a teddy bear! 🐻 What a really nice guy I look up to him.
ZBo is a legend I remember playing 2k with him gasol and my man Rudy Gay man I was unstoppable..ZBo deserved to be recognized
Definitely one of my favorite players of all time!! What an amazing human being too!! I wish the Knicks knew what they were doing when we had Zebo!
Much Love and Respect for u Z-BO...One of Memphis Favorite Son's💯🏀🏀🏀
Fastbreak Breakfast sent me here. GNG forever. Always remember ZBo.
This is a beautiful documentary! Salute to Z-RO always was a tough one
Z-Bo is very likely the best thing to happen to Memphis. He built this city up when so many things were trying to tear it down. The world needs more Z-Bo’s. I was able to see first-hand the affect he had and he will always be my favorite.
One of the most underrated and overlooked players from the 2010s
Zach Randolph you are a real one 💯 ! Real dude ! Great guy ! Down to 🌎 ! Icon ! Entrepreneur ! Go Zee Bo ! 🙏🏀
I'm from where we bully the bully. [Z-bo quote] I've been holding back 😢 all video..
