Whats needed is economic growth, employment and improvement of the quality of life of young and middle aged men in this country. It is a crisis of meaninglessness, purpose, responsibility, and perceived values. If the quality of men’s life improve you will see a decrease in alcohol abuse, drug abuse, gang involvement and child and women abuse and an increase in the number of responsible men and a system that runs better and better accountability. The suffering filters down from the physically strongest to the weakest. Men must be responsible, and accountable, but in their world they can only turn to violence for significance and money. Especially if they dont have a way to attain these things in the traditional way. We need an economic revival to enfranchise these men. They need a role and to be encouraged to take up these roles. The family unit and values would thereafter become the second line. Its time to treat causes and not symptoms. That will help these movements doing such amazing work and are totally invaluable in the meanwhile.
