White shark 280 looks great and having John onboard always gives a good objective view. Oh and his fishing knowledge is second to none. Would love a boat like that! Super video, thx.
We looked at a White Shark 205 but we ended up buying a Robalo.
We do water sports as well as fishing so that was the main reason we wanted a centre console boat with a descent motor on the back. If we only fished a cabin style of boat would probably have been chosen.
perfect florida boat first time seeing center console in uk
Now that was a fun day on the water. What a boat she is. ❤🎉
Well done James!
do they make any with a full size cabin / wheel house.
Very American looking boat I have a centre console in Coromandel New Zealand, I can't imagine your weather would suit a boat of that design. You definitely need to use a sea anchor though, I use a minkota
We regularly get high 20-30 degree C days in summer, with stunning beaches and coastlines. Admittedly in the winter it can be a little more chilly.
John is clearly the only one here that has a clue 😂
It will be seriously cool in the uk, seriously wet too. Not really a boat for the uk weather.
Have fished from similar in hotter climates, with Marlin to 300 & Shark to 200, Tuna to 140 to stand-up fishing wearing a harness. The boat needs a longer bimini top with sides for uk waters.
Good constructive comment. On a fine day in the summer it would be perfect. Though for the other 360 days of the year more shelter could be a benefit. 👍🏻
Haulover Inlet boat..at £85 /hr the owner wont notice it though ...would last me weeks on my coastliner 14 /yam 20hp🤣
gas prices in uk dont need that motor us ok
Really not too bad at 60L per hour cruising. People assume the big V8 is thirsty, but in tests with twin 200 motors it was actually using less fuel with almost identical performance.
Sorry but I definitely don't like that boat, I suppose that it's a case of horses for courses though. There's no weather protection and the gunnels are far too low if you caught a decent fish you could easily go overboard especially with those seats in front of them. She's purely a glamorous pleasure boat, perfect for sunbathing and getting to places fast but nothing else. I know that you were trying to sell the boat but I can't see anyone buying one as a fishing boat. However for what She's built for it's no doubt a perfect boat.
What a strange comment. 😂😂
Definitely not a serious fishing boat.
Remove some of the seating and you'll have a type of angling or more precisely a sportfishing boat similar to what you'll find all over the world. And I'm talking about boats used for big game fishing. So think marlin, sailfish, tuna, tarpon etc. Be fine for sharking in Ireland or the UK. And if you have the licence, bluefin tuna. Ideal for tackling albacore further offshore as well.
@jimdooley1611 This boat may well be OK for the Caribbean etc. but i certainly wouldn't like to be out in her on a bleak wet winter's day. I'd definitely want a boat with a cabin shelter. Why buy a boat with those posh seats then take them out?
@@tonycamplin8607 I would guess that other engine and layout options are available.
