Quentin Tarrentino needs to use this tune in a bloody shoot em up scene...with Chuck Norris walking away to meet Clint Eastwood for lunch at Marcellus Wallace's house. Bruce Willis is the Breakfast chef and Al bundy serves breakfast.
There's something about this first song. Those sounds I interpret them as memories. This part where you hear the traditional latin music, her voice is singing reaching high notes, she is making love too, those are memories he has but doesn't express much with words or in interviews. The music also sounds like Michael Jackson.. Selena was a Michael Jackson fan and got inspiration from him.
@nalgon99 The year after this came out 9/11 hit. Which basically caused the economy to collapse and rebuild itself with housing until Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. So with labels there was no money for years, really. Although you are correct in that they should've been talked up more by people on television. Why weren't these guys on George Lopez Show or especially Ugly Betty? Why weren't they asked to tour beyond acts like Mana with Los Lonely Boys or Santana? Foo Fighters? Ice Cube?
The intro simulates the sound of turning the radio dial to find a station. It is how many of us surfed channels on the dial and found material for mix-tapes.
