    Canterbury, Kent.
General view of Canterbury Cathedral. We then see Dr William Temple in a procession of clergymen approaching the West Door of the cathedral. Shots inside the church show the massive congregation standing up as the procession walks down the aisle. Commentator talks of the different groups who are represented in the congregation.
Several shots of the enthronement ceremony, with the Act of Enthronement performed by the Archdeacon of Canterbury (natural sound). The new Archbishop Temple blesses the congregation, then makes his way back through the church, followed by the rest of the clergymen. Huge crowds strain for a view outside as the procession passes.
