    In setting up the pressure bag, aren't you supposed to make sure there is no air in the drip chamber?

    Hi thanks for the video, I'm just wondering that why do we need to set the pressure bag to 300mmhg? I do understand - to prevent backflow but why not 200 or 250 or something else? Why 300? Thanks

      Did you ever find out? Why is it?

    • @charlienabucket1727
      @charlienabucket1727 Před rokem +2

      My understanding is setting it at 300mmhg is to ensure there will be a very slow drip of saline every hour(?3 ?5mls/hr) being delivered to the catheter to maintain patency.
