Lonnie's dunks are powerful, you can tell there's a lot of emotion behind his effort.
Facts his dunks are explosive and very aggressive. I love this comment cause I thought I was the only one who noticed.
I come from reading too and yeah I get why
Very true. Expressive which is half the battle to being a great dunker imo. Would be dope to see him in the contest
Lol.. that is so dumb to think and then say
Emotions?
Yo why men became very soft and moist🤦🏾♂️🤣
Thank you for sharing this. Lonnie Walker just gained a life-long fan. So much respect
Go Lonnie!!
You’re welcome!!
fax bro, such a sad story, much luv to walker
Glad you enjoyed it
Jesus loves you and may God bless you
I went to Reading high school with Lonnie back in 2015. He was a down to earth dude. Humble as hell. I remember him taking off from the free throw line IN GAME when he was 17. Everyone who saw him play back then knew he was gonna be special. But there is a lot more to his story then people know. The house he lived in had so many bullet holes in it that they stopped fixing them. There was at least 10 people living with him at that time. Reading is the poorest city in PA but every time he plays he makes the city proud!
🙏God wasn't going to abandon him
great guy, I was next door neighbors from him back in san Antonio, on Christmas and Easter he gave us signed holiday jerseys, really nice dude.
I remember when Lonnie and Reading would play other high school teams and most of the time the opposing student section would just be cheering for Lonnie’s dunks. Incredible to see in person.
he shot bricks through his own window huh
Yeah and the biggest reason why he cut his dreads is apart of that dark story too
As a 24 year old who still suffers from trauma after being molested by a family member at just 3 years old, I’m really rooting for him. There’s a lot of weird stuff that, especially when you’re self aware of your trauma, links back to those moments and it can be crippling when you realize why you have some of the habits you do.
Much strenght too you brother 🙏🏻
🙌🙏
🙏🏿🙏🏿♥️
Damn at 3? How tf do you even remember what you felt at that time?
@@doms5755 instead of saying you hope he heals, you are questioning the validity? Keep that same ENERGY in life so people can see the type of bitch there parents made. Fool.
Man this broke my heart. No child deserves to go through that. Good on him for not letting it define the rest of his life.
Sounds like he caught a life long virus from the person as well. Smh as a kid man that is fucking garbage
1,000,000%
Casey always has the most interesting topics, not that repetitive stuff
Yea
Cause he covers the spurs unlike the rest of the country lol
Aka the flight mike I swear he makes every video 3x 😂😂

The meat riding is crazyy 😭😭
I went to high school with Lonnie (never really met the guy though outside of brief interactions) and lived in reading my whole life. but the way the entire city was pushing for Lonnie and still does is amazing. Just so happy to see someone make it out for all of us. And then when that came out about cutting his hair I genuinely cried for and with him cuz it’s already so hard growing up here and to also be going through all of that stuff i couldn’t imagine. Truly a special person.
Maybe you don't have basketball but find what you love and hope you do just as well. The town might be considered poor but seeing how you say they all happy for him, that's the real deal
@@salman13 yeah, and if he loves something that he can make a business from then that can help the city out too
🙏
Same met him once in middle school and again in 8th grade lifelong fan no matter what shout-out Reading
Wow you are the third person in the comment section that went to school with him ! Lol 😂 don’t believe it
Who’s here after Lonnie dropped 15 on the defending champs in the 4th quarter to end the dynasty!!! Man I’m proud of him , from getting dnp to pushing the champs to the brink
Dude is a stud, I hope he gets everything the world has to offer. He’s a miracle personified
I hope he receives everything God has for him in his journey.

What a man Lonnie is! Hope he has an amazing career and wins a championship. He could really influence the next generation in such a good way.
Must have been an IUIC member that molested him... 🙄
Heard the original story and I thought it was crazy courageous to forgive and to come out with it. I’m a very forgiving person, but this is always something I felt I couldn’t forgive if it happened to me. So when I see other who have dropped the weight, it’s very inspiring to me. He’s a great guy, if not player lol, but we here in San Antonio love the man. So glad he got paid by the lakers. I’m happy that he’s showing his worth on the court, cause off it, his worth as a person is already thru the roof.
This man been through so much in his life it's unbelievable, his story is quite similar to those that I love and care for. I've always liked this guy's playing style and his athelticism. Very happy for him that he's making the most of the opportunity in LA and hopefully he will have a long and succesful career
What a mature guy for his age. Also, a great story of strength and redemption. Walker just has a one year deal with the Lakers. Hopefully, he'll get a huge bag next Summer. It's easy to see he deserves it...both on and off the court.
I remember my brother telling me after the draft that Lonnie was from Reading, PA since that’s where my bro lived and went to HS. I always kept tabs on him, sharing highlights with my bro just to rep Reading for him. And seeing him now on the Lakers, I’m super happy for him.
But listening to Lonnie’s story is really touching and I wish him nothing but the best and a very successful career.

Wow you are the 5th person in comments that knew him lol fake
This kid's story is truly inspiring. Nothing but prayers for this kid's health and career.
Wow! I am definitely a supporter of him now! You never know what people go through, but the fact that he's come through and able to thrive AND help others...mind-blowing!
Love this generation. Lonnie, Bones Hyland, Kevin Love, DeMar, players being open on their own terms. This is good stuff. I learned something and 100% I'll be looking at him differently now.
As a Lakers fan, I can’t be grateful enough to be blessed with his talent on the court- but his story and rise in his career and most importantly his life is what makes him so special. He is what the game of basketball is truly about. Wishing him the best in life, Go Lonnie ❤
It’s amazing seeing someone you know share his gifts to the world with similar backgrounds, Lonnie was one of my childhood friends we met in 2nd grade i was the shortest in the class and he was the tallest lol, and he showed how strong and determined he is to make it out of Reading, i was so excited for him as he grew to the NBA Star he is now keep doing your thing Champ!!!
As someone who lives near Reading I follow Lonnie and I'm pretty familiar with his story but I love watching these videos anyways because the guy deserves more recognition. Not just for his basketball game but for being strong enough to share the things he had to endure. It's never easy being vulnerable in the sports world and I hope younger athletes take note of his bravery and character. Lonnie is about the greatest guy you'll ever meet. Every offseason he comes home and does camps for the kids in his town. He'll then go to parks or recs and just play pick up games with whoever. Not to just show them up but to sincerely just have fun with the people in his community. The guy truly invests so much of his free time to helping others and doesn't expect the universe to give him anything in return.
I'm glad he found peace. Such a strong dude for being able to come out of all that and thrive. He is playing really well too and he deserves all the success in the world
I grew up in Reading PA just like Lonnie. It's fell on really hard times. My old neighborhood looks like a war zone today. Lonnie is our hero, such a class act and great, great young man. He's gives the youth of Reading hope and inspiration they too can make something of their lives. We are all forever grateful. Peace!
I get chills reading what happened to him. I'm a spurs fan and LOVED Lonnie coming out of college. He is such a good guy, any team would be lucky to have a guy like him.
Goosebumps on this story. I hope he can sustain his success, and his story is really an inspiration to many.
I was actually a huge fan of the Lonnie Walker IV signing by the Lakers, despite being hated by everyone else. I saw Walker IV as the Malik Monk this season, and boy he did not disappoint. He's exceeding all fans' expectations and he's feeling the adoration of the Laker fans. That was an inspirational journey for him, overcoming all that to now becoming a key starter on a glamorous franchise.
Also, loving the new background music on your videos Casey. Keep it up!
man that tweet was so inspiring made me feel inspired thats a nice way to handle your challenges by not letting nothing fall apart in front of your face and just grinding hard and staying true to who you really are as a person.
Love all your content bruh, but these types of vids are always my favorite. We always have opinion videos on this and that team and player, I rarely see the human side of basketball on nba youtube, thanks for these types of videos 🔥🔥🔥
Coming back to this video after seeing him explode for 15 points in the 4th qrtr against warriors.
Got me tearing up. Much inspiration for anyone going through tough times. ❤💔❤️🩹👊🙏
These are my favorite kinds of videos by you. Just some heartwarming and inspiring content that is so important and so amazing for you to put out there for us to enjoy. Amazing video
Great video! Amazing story and thank you for telling it
AM HOOPS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best NBA Content right now!!!!
Sooo Underated!!!!!
Thank You for Covering LW from Reading PA my hometown!!!
Lonnie is very humble, doesn’t talk doesn’t show off doesn’t need to. The way he brought The city of reading together or even the whole county together was awesome when Reading high won states or even all 4 years he played. Don’t know stats but crime was probably down any time Reading high was playing and people were excited and happy. Can truly be a great Documentary
First video of yours I’ve seen. Great video. Didn’t know anything about Mr. walker but he now has a fan! Seems like a great dude
Thanks for this upload. Really happy for this young fella
Thanks Casey for this video, man I have been watching your videos from the start your killing it bro!!!
I had the opportunity of being on Lonnie’s high school coaching staff from 9th to his senior year, he is truly an outstanding young man I have never heard him raise his voice yo any of his coaches teammates or his peers he has always had a team first mentality he is a great young-man on the court and off of it God Bless continue you Lonnie !🏀👍🏽💪🏿💪🏿😎🙏🏿
As a Lakers fan Lonnie has been a revelation on that roster and a pleasure to watch all season. I have been picking up some of his cards (ebay auctions going higher every week!) and following his progress. Great informative vid and a truly inspirational story; Lonnie deserves all the success his future holds!
Being from Reading Pa i’m so glad Lonnie is being talked about this way! It always felt like the place had nothing to offer even when he wasn’t doing so hot the people never gave up on him
Great video thank you I would have never knew his story. Super inspiring
amazing vidoe casey!!! SO beautiful this story. so sad but so happy for him.
Wow! Amazing video and amazing man! Thank you 😊
Oh fark, when you said "if you're easily disturbed" I'm like nah, I'm tough as, I've seen and been around some extreme violence and got through it but that shook me a bit tbh.
Much love to this dude.
Got to say Casey, I really look forward to your vids and your enthusiasm and takes on current NBA topics. I hope this generates a pretty good income for you as I certainly appreciate it.
Lonnie dunks are so explosive and aggressive!!! His dunks are different, something about his dunks and the way he attacks the rim.
Man it hurt when I herd people around me ragging on him knowing how deeply I relate..He has inspired me and give me the confidence to let go of my mask and speak my story I will forever be grateful to have been able to watch him grow n develope over the years and Will appreciate his presents long after basketball is over
I moved here to San Antonio during Lonnie last year here and went to a game at the end of the season. He was my favorite player playing on the court that day with Murray and keldon out I remember even telling my dad that Lonnie is a cool player and he should keep his eye on him. I was acutely sad when he went to the lakers I wanted to watch more of him here but happy to see he loves the city man. I hope he continues to do well and build on legacy, great video Casey!
Great message! Love the content 🤲🏾💯💪🏾
Another great post! Heart warming story. Heart goes out to him and other survivors. Blessings to him.

There's lots of these stories in the league(s) as well as in the chat. Great job bud !!! Hopefully people find a sliver of inspiration and use this for their own benefit.
Bro you do a great job with your videos. I watch a lot of your videos and all of them I really love. This one right here was my favorite 🔥 I’m so glad for Lonnie I will definitely continue watching him.

What a courageous man finding hope through humility and honesty
I felt this video 🙏🏾❤️🕊 I knew there was something about this kid and he will rise up big in the NBA!
Awesome video man! And big ups to LW4 this is news to me and I salute him for being so strong and getting that weight off of his shoulders. Praying for his continued success and progress!
Props to him. It's not easy to let go and just forgive instead of nurturing grudge, but it feels like it liberated him. I'm rooting for ya.
Wow thank you for this video, I actually had no clue he was going through stuff like that, I'm definitely happy for him
This is the true definition of "stunning & brave".
Powerful story;
and great narration of it, homie 👏👏👏

Dude is an absolute STUD And he has so much emotion from his effort actually
Great video/message 👍
Great to see him develop. My team played against him in highschool and he was a dawg! Was worried he'd struggle at the next level because our area isn't the best comp but he has surprised me
Thank you AM Hoops🙏🙏🙏
Lonnie has a new fan in me. Keep soaring, brother, the sky is the limit!
Heartwarming content. Great video.
Great story and very inspiring!
As a long time basketball, thank you for this story... I love these kind of stories... Only the strong servive and excell.
Tons of respect for this guy. Great video
I always had a good feeling about him! I expected him to be this player and I’m happy it worked out and I’m happy he’s happy!
Thanks for sharing he’s a beautiful guy to share his vulnerability I love this 💪🏾🙌🏾❤️🙏🏾
Best thing to come out of Reading since the 5th Avenue candy bar!! Thanks for showing him some love! Stu Jackson was dope too!!
As embarrassing as it is to admit… I was “abused” by someone I was supposed to trust. And as a young boy, it REALLY messed with my mind as I was growing up. As a kid, I didn’t know if that made me gay, so it REALLY made life difficult because I knew I was attracted to females. That’s how young & ignorant I was. Even to this today it haunts me. My only consolation is that he is burning in Hell, where he belongs. Keep fighting, Lonnie. As a life long Lakers fan, nothing makes me happier than seeing you succeed. You’ve just earned the respect of MANY fans around the world. Much love ✌🏾
Great video, mate!
Thanks for the info I had no idea about this dude now he's on my radar 🎯💯
Awesome video 👏🏼
Thanks for sharing this story.
Lonnie came off the bench shot 4/4 before missing and won the game for lakers vs warriors game 4.
Happy to see this. He went to my high school. Although he was in 8th grade when I was senior. But I saw him practicing with the varsity team and there was a lot of hype with him coming up to high school and for good reason. I remember watching him doing his rim grazer dunks as an 8th grader lol. Now his the skywalker.
Now his on my favorite team. Our city is a very very rough place. Always good to see those of us that leave that place. I have cousins that know him.
Reading that post about his trauma was extremely upsetting. Especially when I was saw him at the age of 13 as a child.
Awesome piece on LWIV!!! Thanks! I’m sad he had to leave the spurs to find success but so happy that he is thriving in LA
Great post!
Yea I knew about him and a little bout his story, I'm glad he's getting a chance to show his greatness in LA 💯
