Love that 2 cylinder sound! Nice tractor
That G wasn't missing a pop. Walked right along with that 3 bottom.
It was working hard!
It was 100% level ground
Love it when the camera frame rate synchs up with the flywheel RPM…
There just isn't another sound like a 2 cylinder working!
Looking good
I liked the old John Deere and farm all. They both were great tractors. However this John Deere isn’t plowing in hills like we had back home
can't wait to get my #311 fast hitch plow in working condition to plow this year with my farmall 450
Just like my Dad's John Deere G !!!
Open 'er up!!
Still beats the newer equipment, doesn't cost much for maintenance
interesting that 70-730 diesels were 376 cubes but 1,125 rpm
Most efficient tractors produced according to Nebraska testing.
@@leonardcollings7389yeah the diesels were efficient. The gassers were terrible on fuel.
Hope he has a fuel tanker for fill-up at the end of the field. That tractor likely burns 6 gal per hr.
No way
How many cubic inches is her engine?
What I found was 412.5 cubic inches. Don’t know if it’s right but that’s what I found.
@@cornisgold8051 thanks. I was wondering how it compared to the "D"
@@richardpaauwe6520 The bore & stroke of the D is 6-3/4 x 7” for 501 cubes. It was rated for 900 rpm’s vs the 975 rpm’s of the G with its bore & stroke at 6.125 x 7” for 413 cubes
