Only 15th Air Force ( from Foggia Italy ) could reach Auschwitz....starting in 1944.....by which time only Hungarian Jewry was only 1/3 destroyed. Also a target spread out over such a large footprint would have called for tens of missions to even disrupt. The Germans had already exhibited full competence and simpler killing methods. Therefore, the bombs ,avgas and crew lives were more usefully expended elsewhere. The very question of asking why we did "bomb the Holocaust" exhibits an ignorance of air warfare , logistics and the timeline of the war and the Holocaust that invalidates everything the speaker says thereafter.
