    Noita Epilogue update is out now. It's one of our biggest updates yet and is also going to be the last major update for Noita. The change list alone is 319 entries long. While this is the last major update for Noita, it's not going to be the End of Everything.

    The map with coordinates that you are using is conting individual pixels. 10 pixels on this map equal one point of coordinate (one meter) in game. If Mina is 15/16 pixels, it makes 1.5/1.6m

    Isn't the "center" of Mina where things are measured from not from the feet? And then you would have to add the height from where Mina is measured from (center) to get the actual height of the room not from their feet to the top of the room. So the room wouldn't be 10m. Seems like the room is closer to 11m height.

      I think Mina is measured from where she holds the wand that would make sense from a programming standpoint i think

      Does it even matter, where the meassureing point is? You always get a hight 1 Mina lower than the actual height.

      The video is quick maff for context. In my house,,, Math sucks,,, the answer rocks. We got there within a margin of error.... Math people must show their math apparently :P Now I see where math teachers drilling 'show your working' had stuck XD I appreciate the accuracy, but it really does not matter context wise really does it? :P

    when you calculated Mina's height you took the 10m variation in top to bottom coordinates and divided by how many times mina fit inside the area.
    there is 1 small problem:
    that is the distance between the top of mina on the ground and the ceiling, meaning you need to subtract around 1 mina from the calculation(because of Mina's collision box).
    from that: mina's height is approximately 10/6 and not 10/7 and is closer to 1.6m(based on my calculations) and not 1.42 or 1.5
    with 1.6m being the assumed height is also simplifies the size of a pixel to 10cmx10cm(because Mina is 16 pixels tall)
    which lets you easily scale every enemy and feature in the game by pixel counting.
    but that is what I used, you can ignore me.

      Aye, this was rough af maff, I not a maff guy :P Got to the margin of error I was satisfied with tho for a context YT video :) appreciate the math for the peoples

    UI timer hits depth divides the true Y coordinate by 10, it doesn't do this with X.

    Why not just dying at a hight point of the map "higher" than 0m deep, that is not random and easy to meassure? Then dying at a low point. Take height difference of the dept shown. Than take the difference of the coodinates in a map you choose. Calculate the convert factor from it.
    Then dig a hole with a laser beam so Mina barely fits in there, so you know the size of Mina in pixels. Look in the online map, how many ingame pixels are 1 unit height.
    At the end convert Mina pixels into online map height with it and convert this to meters from the convert factor at the beginning.

      Ok, i see, Mina can crouch, i didn't check this. So it has to be captured from a image Screenshot and count pixels.

      The fist shop left to fishies is height 139m (the first non solid pixel) and the coordinates of a map and 1516m the first non solid pixel at the work. Difference is 1377m.
      On a map i found the heights are 1397 mapPix and 15165 mapPix. Difference is 13786 mapPix.
      So we can say convertion is 0.1 m/mapPix
      The map is 1 mapPixel = 1 ingame Pix. So we dont have to do anything there.
      Mina on the average stance in a screenshot was 68 screenPix in size. 90 screenPix were 20 ingame pix in the image.
      So the size of Mina ingame is 68/90*20=15,111 ingamePix. For some reason 1 Mina pixel is bigger than the other, so only count the number of Pixels of Mina wasn't enough.
      IngamePix = mapPix, so these are also 15,111 mapPix.
      At the end convert it into meters:
      0.1 m/mapPix * 15,111 mapPix = 1,511m

      The crouch height is 41 screenPix instead of 68, so it's the factor of 0.6029 the size. Thats 0.911m.

      @@melonenlord2723 I'm not sure I could make a video with more math in it 'inviting' ;) So generally went a nice low grade practical search for the answer with basic maff

      @LetsSufferTogether That is understandable. 😀 Still not sure if some weird effect are happening, so that the height is not exactly 1.5m or if it actually isn't for some reason, but the size is somewhere there, that's sure.

    so i gave fury a seed that im on with no island wondering if my game broke or do i have a legit seed that's a daily run without the lake island, ive gone to the moon(im doing my sun quest, luckily i have a fire stone on hand) and back, saved and quit and re-opened and still no island. but i do have the cabin and both rooms you can open there ive opened and that's how i found my issue, just before a pw run so before the funny that did. by the way this is my 6th attempt at my sun quest, and my last run i figured out what perks to not get, like explosive gold fun but can get to be too much. Seed # 1826037521 and starter loadout mod, its never taken my island before so if your thinking the mod did it cause some things don't spawn with mods active.
