I ate my weight of doner in Adana, Turkey. Most of the ones I had, had lettuce and tomato, and some creamy cucumber sauce.....I'm drooling right now just thinking of it. The only thing I liked better was the baklava. The chicken tava was excellent as well!

Along with things like pizza. Fast, easy and delicious.
It's no surprise they are also some of the favorite foods around the world.
The initial preparation of stacking the meat, or preparing the dough, is quite long, but when you got through that, the actual cooking part, is very fast, and you can whip out a doner or a pizza in a few minutes.

Philly here, dont know of anyplace like this either. The meat once cooked and sliced does remind me of a cheesesteak though.😁Looks yummy.

I was a dishwasher many years ago and that was one job that is discouraging because the moment you clean a dish, bussers come and stack 10 more. I imagine the guy cutting the meat has a similar experience lol you basically have to keep cutting until the 90 lbs of meats gone lol

I remember living in the UK and looking for a pizza. No pizza here they said. Try a doner. I wish I could find this in Michigan. I crave one from time to time.

We have some Doner in Savannah GA and Statesboro GA and its good! To those saying we need it in the US, get out of your house more, you'd be surprised at what you will find around your cities. We have African, Greek, Mediterranean, etc..... all through the US. Great foods everywhere. Its not just hamburgers and Fries.
