Audi A4 B5 cluster with partial dash lights working: SimHub+ 2 Arduino UNO boards

  • Hi,
I managed to get the dash lights working partially via a second Arduino for this purpose only. Unfortunately the uno has only few pins and going to an Arduino mega is the only way to solve this issue. I’ll be getting a mega soon. Also the cluster light is driven to 12V or ground via a 5V Arduino relay channel.

Does your clusters pinout say anything about CanBus? If yes then this code wouldn’t work. You need the can bus IDs and an arduino code to get it working. Also, I’ve heard some VAG based clusters have a relation to esp, so speed will drop after a while. If your cluster uses that then you need to sort that out too. You can ask in my discord group. There are some members who work on VW and Audi clusters.

Hello, I have the cluster of the same audi a4, my problem is that I have connected everything and only the temperature servo works, the rest does not work if you could help me by explaining how you connected it or send me the diagram I would be very grateful and of course you would have my like and another subscriber thank you

I need the same thing! Hahaha I have the same panel (Kline) and need emulate sinal to rpm, temp, and fuel...

One important thing to keep in mind is the pinouts I've provided in my new updated video for the Audi A4 is for the 1998-99 cluster. For the models up to 1997 the pinouts are a bit different. Please look at the pinouts from the link to the service manual for the +12V, Ground and the other pins.
Note: Do, not mix up between the models or you may feed +12V to the wrong pin and potentially damage the cluster!
