i honestly enjoy the declutter idea for a video! i used to be obsessed with lipsticks and bought way too many. i decluttered but still have so much i need to really get rid of. i think this year i want to go through my products again and be very minimalistic with it.
Definitely do whats best for you! Decluttering can be super refreshing. I decided not to do dedicated declutters this year but I most likely will next year.
Cruelty free is a tough journey, especially as a creator. I have definitely had panic attacks and gone really crazy trying to make sure I didn’t f*ck up (spoiler: i still did) I can definitely relate to your regret!!! It’s taken me over a year to figure out where I want to be with my Mac and other non CF products. I reserve most of them for travel which makes it really fun to dig in when it’s time for a trip :) thanks for sharing your collection. Your content is always like hanging out with a friend and I love it sm💓💖

Why does the company no longer existing lead you to get rid of the product? Genuinely curious - is it bc you become doubtful of the formula or have had it for too long? Thanks!
Tbh them announcing their closing reminded me that I had their stuff in my collection lol. In this case I just never used any of it. I think for me it depends on how much I like the products because I kept my becca bronzer even tho becca went out of business. It was kinda just like I didnt care about the products to begin with and they're going out of business so I care even less!
I told myself I wouldn’t buy any more makeup and I haven’t. But…now I have been buying more haircare and skincare 💀 so now I have to stop that this year.
That has happened to me before… for me, at least those are the products I can actually use up! Maybe make it a goal to use something up entirely before getting something new again!
But I am happy that you are downsizing and working towards using up your products, I’m trying to do the same. I’d love if you gave more details on where you donate your still-usable makeup

I bought the Charlotte Tilbury version of that and it did the same thing as the ELF. Would not buy it again.
I’ve only owned a handful of Charlotte tilbury and none of it is worth the price imo
