- This experience can be summed up in one word: ouch. Today my roommate Mattie and I had the bright idea of running a half marathon with no prior training whatsoever… spoiler alert this is NOT a good idea. Hope you enjoy watching us sister struggle for 10 minutes :)

and that pre race nervous feeling is the worst and i always be telling myself why did i choose this as my sport but with 5 seasons done i still haven’t quit so it’s all good

I'm sooo proud of you guys for doing this and without any real training. Y'all are actually soooo inspiring for others and me!! ❤ LOVE YOU GUYS!!! ❤
As a cross country runner, props to you for trying that! Running any race with no training is hard, but especially a half marathon! A few tips for your next race: Make sure to really, really stretch. Like, 10 minutes worth of stretching for that kind of race. Make sure to eat a healthy, lightish breakfast, and don’t eat anything about an hour to a half hour before you race. Also DRINK WATER. Lots, and lots of water. Have fun, and be safe :D

As a cross country runner I am very proud of you guys! I run 5miles but 13?!? I COULD NOT! also I smiled when Mattie said pretend you are holding a Pringle bc in middle school we did that. And Guys congrats u guys earn anything rn! And you guys kept on going through it and pushing yourself keep up the work!
