I’m not sure how Mountain Dew plays a role in this but the smoking yes. I’ve smoked for 28 years and I can’t bring myself to quit just yet. I’m aware of how ridiculous that sounds
This is one of those times when you need to be a selfish bastard and put yourself FIRST. You are very aware of the risks and seem to be taking a sensible approach. Keep safe and good luck.
melissa hilburn 🤣 That’s awesome. April and I were just talking. She’s going to crochet teddy bears that says yeah buddy on their chest. When she gets one done, I will be sending you one free of charge for your daughter. ❤️
I didn't think freight would be that tight. I figured it would only affect certain sectors, but it sounds like this is a problem across the board now. I start orientation in two days. So i imagine i'll be sitting in a trainer's truck until something comes through. Should be fun.
cory brearley it’s going to be interesting for sure. I’m seeing trainer trucks from all sorts of companies sitting here. On a good note you “should” get some practice in on backing. Hopefully they’ll use the down time for good use. Good luck to you Sir. Which company did you go with ?
@@YeahBuddy-Al I went to Roadmaster for a month to train, and then for easy transfer i went with Werner since Roadmaster is their school. It's def a hell of a thing. The school has a drastic reduction in students, and i guess they're reducing how many classes they hold due to a lack of people because of the crisis going on. Unfortunately due to insurance reasons, i'll have to bite the bullet on settling with OTR until something better comes along
Ryan Schoonover it’s certainly not going away. The country has to keep people inside to slow the spread so the medical system does not crash. The country will most likely have to close and open in phases.
I'm considering Wilson Logistics CDL training course. Is there anything I should look out for with them? Are they a good company to start with? I know not to take what a recruiter tells me for a grain of sand, but would like a veteran drivers opinion. @Trucker Al
Their still keeping most drivers moving. Right now with this pandemic, it’s really hard to determine what’s going to happen. Personally I’d still start and get your foot in the door
You have asthma and you think it increases your risks! You smoke and drink Mountain Dew. Come on!

DO NOT GIVE UP. I HAVE BEEN LAYEDOFF SINCE MARCH 15TH.
When will you be dropping in Indianapolis
Friday morning
The country will start to open soon and it will pick up
Zoltan Tamasi be that as it may be. It’s a HUGE mistake. And as a teacher I’m sure you understand the risk that’s going to put on everyone.
Trucker Al thank goodness schools are staying closed
It’s never a good time to go into trucking for me 🤨
@@YeahBuddy-Al way too soon to open back up. I hope I'm wrong but this virus is gonna rear it's ugly head again and be twice as bad.

I am suppose to start 5/25 so would you say it not a good time to start for Create Shaffer.
