- a bittersweet goodbye, and a road trip to the west coast~
this vlog was a bit shorter than i'd expected. i hope y'all don't mind that i haven't been uploading twice a week, it's been a tiny bit hectic moving and planning my life in los angeles! i'm very excited though, it outweighs the stress from all the things that lie ahead.
i'm having fun in california already, i'm writing this in my bed and the weather is cool. my skin loves the ocean breeze, it's home. next weeks vlog will also be me on the road, but lots more involved (like camping!). i want to do a youtube livestream sometime next week since i can't upload on wednesday, is that something you'd like?
i hope you are well, thank you for allowing me to live a life i'd only dreamt of. every day that i wake up and remember that i'm going to be living in california seems so surreal. i've missed it here, and thank to you, i get to stay here. thank you so much.

I'm about to leave on the biggest road trip of my life from indiana (where I live) all through west with stops for rafting the colorado, railroad through the rocky mountains, albuquerque, roswell (ufo capital of the world), grand canyon, sedona (where I used to live), flagstaff, vegas, san diego, la and hollywood, yosemite, san francisco, salt lake city, mt. rushmore, yellowstone, the badlands, and then back home. this was kinda like a last childhood trip before I go to college :-)

This week was actually really hard for me because it was the fist time in my education career that I didn't make all As. I made Cs. I have a perfectionist disorder and everyone keeps telling me that I shouldn't be so hard on myself because this semester I was going through a lot of depression, anemia, a vitamin deficiency of c and d, and my liver almost failed and I know these sound like good reasons why I don't have all As but it's killing me inside. My whole life I wanted to go to Johns Hopkins and I feel like I just ruined all my chances of getting in. I know no one will read this but I'm just gonna let the internet take this comment into its black hole and be.

you can actually explain to the admissions faculty about why you did poorly that particular semester in a letter. They'll be willing to listen to you. I didn't so hot this semester and yes I was bummed about it but it doesn't mean I won't get admitted to UCLA or USC or some top university. I hope this makes you feel better:)

My weekend: I went the museum with my friend, her sister, and her sister's boyfriend. I really love going to museums because it's sort of like time traveling. It's seeing your culture and your history in another form.

1) my favorite singer saw a fanart i drew of him and used it as his instagram profile pic!!!! he liked my art and 6.4m people saw it :')
2) i rediscovered my old favorite webtoon, it's called Spirit Fingers and it's really great!! It's a sort of self-discovery story of a high school girl with low self esteem/confidence who joins this quirky art croquis group and "finds her own color". 10000/10 would recommend, the art is beautiful, the story is hilarious and touching, errthing

Well I'm about to go on a long road trip too,I'm moving in like 2 weeks. I've packed my books yesterday and it was TIRING. I am a very active reader so I have like three shelves of 300-400 page books so that was a challenge for me. Any ways I when I read the title of the video I realized that my goodbye to the city I am in right now isn't temporary at all. Which made me a little sad because all of my best friends are here and I'll be leaving them. But maybe this new chapter of my life will be nice and I'll be happy there too. I don't know why I wrote this but I just wanted to put it out there :)
