If you're interested in french rap, I could may be advice you. Nekfeu is my favourite one because he comes up to true themes. But unfortunately you can't fully appreciate that if you don't speak french. In France we have something called cultural exception which implains that radios must play a minimum of French music, theaters must promote a minimum French movies but they don't play only that. I m not sure but I guess it's 15 or 20%.
The reason why France is the 2nd best rap scene in the world is because it started to spread in suburbs to all over the big cities and so on, way before it was even a "thing" in other big European countries like the UK, Germany, Italy or Spain...
