Neil Young is probably the greatest rock & roll survivor ever. And he hasn't just survived either. Very often he's been ahead of the game. His music transcends generations. I know people who listen to him with their grandchildren. Remember too, that this was the last year Frank Sampedro toured. He retired shortly after with crippling arthritis in both hands.
as a musician i dread the day i wont be able to play...that had to hurt Frank. already am getting cramps and numbness in bioth hands. Neil is the best love his music

Saw this show in Adelaide with Billy on Bass before his misfortunet stroke.
Both amazingly powerful and yet at times, subtle bass players.
I wonder if this is why Neil surrounds himself with youngsters nowadays?
Two deaths, and one stroke in such short time to three of his closest travellers. Pretty bloody hard on ones soul.

I lived so close to Colmar such a wonderful place to hold a concert. Fresh mountain air, lovely green pastures and great skiing.So nice to see mature old men jamming to their heart's content.A truly magical venue.

No big light show and a video wall but only great musicians who plays such great music. I don't know what it is but every guitar solo of Neil Young give me goosebumps and i wish that the guitar solo never ends.

Zazdroszczę tobie chociaż jednego - ja słucham , oglądam Neila od 50 lat mam większość jego jego płyt ale na żywo nie widziałem nigdy tylko z video- ciekawe dlaczego dupki w Polsce go nie zapraszają a tak blisko niekiedy jest często w Niemczech koncertuje jak pracowałem w Niemczech w 2012 roku to był a szefowanszwabiba mnie nie puściła pierdloba robota była ważniejsza niż mnie na 2 dni puscic- Rengi Kid from Poland!👍✌️🎸🤠

So sad, Bass Player here, Rick Rosas died just a few months after this concert at home back in Ca. at age 65. He's the only one (besides the originals themselves) played in; Buffalo Springfield, Crosby Stills Nasy and Young, and Crazy Horse..Rest in Peace Rick.

Still has his Conn Strobo-tuners just under the front of the drum riser,just like he did back in 1978.Watch the 'Rust Never Sleeps' concert film 1979 (recorded at Cow Palace Daly City,Ca 1978-10-22) and you'll see them.The tuners cost $300 a piece back then.
Last time I saw Neil was Summer 2000 at Meadows Amphitheater in Hartford,Ct USA.
Un belissimo concerto, pieno di energia, grinta, entusiamo, voglia di vivere, stare insieme, condividere. Bravissimo Neil, bravissimi i musicisti della band "Crazy Horse", bravissimo il pubblico. Peccato per le riprese audiovideo non eccelse, che, però, essendo amatoriali, sono ampiamente giustificate. Un bravo, comunque, anche a chi le ha realizzate e immesse online. Ciao! :-)

I saw this show Minneapolis Minnesota. What incredible night it was. I got to meet Neal's dad and Neal while waiting for them by there bus. I had like a 5 min conversation with both of them. Such kind people.

Saw them the year before, at the 2013 Paleo Festival. Of all his line ups, Crazy Horse are the absolute best. Shame the Paleo gig had to end early because of an absolutely torrential downpour.

I saw Neil in Madison Square Garden when he had all those big boxes and elves running around the stage. It was kind of a historical review of his music. Was it The Rust Never Sleeps Tour? Flying pretty high those days.
